Epilogue
The gang had finally settled into peaceful times. Kagome and Inuyasha’s honeymoon went great. Kagome had decided to spend there honeymoon in her time. They visited as many places as they could. Kagome wanted Inuyasha to get to see her life before she went back to his. They had a great time. Once they came back Sango and Miroku announced that they would be getting married. Kagome and Inuyasha were very happy for them. Shippo had also met a very beautiful young woman. They started seeing each other shortly after Kagome and Inuyasha left. He to was happy.
Inuyasha had gone back to where he was raised and fixed up his home that harenarents had once shared. He made it suitable for his bride. He had also with the help of Miroku and Shippo built another house for Sango and Miroku and an extra place for Shippo. They all wanted to stay close. Kaede had decided to stay in her village. That was her home, but she visited them often.
Months and months had past and Kagome felt herself growing sick all the time. Inuyasha heard her get up one morning.
“Are you okay sweetheart? You look awful.”
“I don’t know Inuyasha I think it may be the powers I now have. Maybe there too much for me and it’s draining me.”
“Why don’t we go to see Kaede tomorrow and see if she can help?”
Kagome nodded feeling another wave of sickness coming over her. Morning had come and they all headed out to see Kaede. Once they arrived Kagome began to tell her all the symptoms she was having. Kagome told her she was throwing up a lot and feeling very weak. Inuyasha had also added that she was sleeping a lot. Kaede listened to everything they had to say. Kaede looked at them and smiled.
“Why are you smiling? Kagome’s life could be in danger” shouted Inuyasha.
“I don’t think so” said Kaede. “If I’m not mistaken I believe Kagome is with child.”
Everyone said what at the same time and Inuyasha passed out. Once he came to he couldn’t believe what she had said.
“Are you sure Kaede?”
“Well it would be best if she went to her own time and went to see a doctor, but I’m guessing she is.”
Sango hugged a still surprised Kagome.
“I’m so happy for you guys.”
Inuyasha walked over to Kagome and kissed her passionately.
“I can’t believe it me a father how wild.”
“And what about me, I’m going to be a mom.”
They were stunned. Inuyasha and Kagome made the trip back home. What Kaede said had been confirmed, Kagome was with child. Kagome’s mother was so happy. Throughout her pregnancy, Kagome made trips back and forth to see the doctor. Everything was going great. Not to well for Inuyasha though. It was pure torture to see Kagome’s different moods. He was scared of her, she was mad at times then nice as can be. Kagome’s mother had warned Inuyasha about this but it was worse he thought.
The next morning Kagome woke up to use the bathroom and found herself wet. She looked down and saw her bed was wet also. She woke Inuyasha up.
“Inuyasha I think it’s time.”
“Time for what?”
“The baby to come you idiot.”
Inuyasha sprang into action he threw on his clothes and went to wake Sango, Miroku and Shippo.
“It’s time guys we need to get her to the well.”
They all went through the well stopping to get Kagome’s family. They rushed her to the hospital. Kagome’s labor went by very quickly. The doctor told her it was time to push.
“Kagome you are going to have to push now, when I say go start pushing.”
Kagome did as she was told. Inuyasha helr har hand helping her in any way he could. She had a very tight grip on his hand but he didn’t care he wanted her pain to stop.
“I can the the head it’s, it’s all white.”
No one was surprised since Inuyasha had a mane of pure white hair.
“It’s coming it’s a boy, you have a son.”
Inuyasha was extremely happy he looked just like Inuyasha down to the ears. They were going to have trouble explaining that one. The doctor placed him on Kagome’s chest.
“He’s beautiful Inuyasha he looks just like you. I love you Inuyasha.”
“I love you too.”
Everyone was standing there also very happy and very excited.
“What are you going to name him” asked Shippo.
“Well after his fath… but Kagome didn’t finish she was panting in pain.
“Doctor something’s wrong Kagome is in pain.”
“What” and the doctor looked at Kagome and checked her.
“Nurse get over here she’s having another one.”
Once again everyone screamed “What!”
“Push Kagome push.”
Inuyasha was standing off to the side holding his son. He couldn’t believe he heard the doctor say there was another one. She pushed one last time and out came the baby.
“You have a little girl,” said the doctor.
She also looked like Inuyasha her hair was pure white, and she had his ears but she had Kagome’s eyes and Kagome’s beautiful smile. The doctor put her in Kagome’s arms. They couldn’t believe it. They had twins. She kissed her babies and held them close.
“Oh Kagome I am so happy” said Inuyasha.
“So what are you going to name them?”
“Well he is going to be Inuyasha Jr. and as for our daughter I would like to name her Kikyo. If it weren’t for her I would have never been with Inuyasha.”
Kikyo was never evil only her old remains were. She was once a good woman who loved life and loved Inuyasha.
Kagome looked at Inuyasha, “Is that okay with you Inuyasha?”
“If that’s what you want it is fine with me.” Inuyasha looked at his family. He finally had a family; he had never been more happier then he did today. He had what he wanted most and he knew they would be together always.
