Chapter 11

Sesshoumaru was quietly patrolling his lands. He could feel Kaida getting angry and frustrated, but he figured it was because she was probably talking to Inuyasha.
“That bastard.” He thought as he looked over his right. He suddenly stopped abruptly.
He couldn’t sense her anymore. One minute she had been there, and then pain, then nothing… he quickly turned around and headed for the place he last sense she had been.
He got there not too long after he had left and full speed. “Why should I care if she dies? It’s not my problem, I told her not to go.” He kept thinking on his way there. ‘But you’d miss her if you was gone right?’ said that annoying little voice in his head. He quietly sca the the area. He could smell that bastard Naraku everywhere. A couple of trees where knocked over…recent by the looks of things. He found Jaken and quickly proceeded to waking him up.
“???...!!!aaahh Sesshoumaru-sama! Forgive me! But Naraku came out of nowhere and I was powerless to do anything.” He said bowing knowing he could expect to feel his master’s boot on him. He cautiously looked up when he didn’t feel anything. He saw Sesshoumaru’s face was emotionless as ever, but Jaken had been with him long enough to know he was infuriated.
“First Rin, now her.” He said turning around, following Naraku’s scent.

She woke up in a room that she knew, and hated, all to well. She ran toward the door and was immediately thrown back by the barrier. She landed on her back and she soon remembered that her wings where broken.
“NARAKU!!!” she yelled at top top of her lungs. She knew that he wouldn’t be to far away. He never was.
“Kaida is it?” He quietly said to as as he rounded the corner stopping just outside the barrier. She didn’t answer him. She was to angry at letting herself being captured by him again.
“Tell me Kaida, what is a dragon youkai doing all the way down here? It’s especially rare to see one who can sustain another form.” He was trying to get information out of her, just like he had done last time. To see whether or not she was “qualified” to be one with him.
“I’m not telling you anything.” She said getting up and walking toward him.
“She’s proud. I like that, hard to control in some cases, but I’ll manage.” He thought to himself as she walked toward him and got as closed to him as she could without being hit by the barrier.
“Fuck off.” She quietly said to him, almost in a whisper.
Naraku chuckled at this.
“Kagura!” he yelled.
“What is it?” she said obviously irritated by him as usual. She walked toward Naraku and saw Kaida standing there, her wings obviously broken.
“It’s you!” she said in a gasp.
“Tell me Kagura, was she the one that used both swords?” He said backing up so Kagura could get a better look.
"Yeah, that’s her all right. Although she didn’t have those markings…” she said pointing to Sesshoumaru’s marks on Kaida with her fan.
“Huh? Those look like…jajajajajaja...” he thought.
“Well now, the cold hearted Sesshoumaru hinalinally found someone to settle down with. Funny, I thought he was going to choose that human when she got old enough.”
“You leave Rin out of this.” She said already feeling her blood beginning to boil. She couldn’t lose control, not here, not now, not ever again.
“Gets her some water Kagura. I don’t want her dying out on me.” Naraku said as he walked away.
“Make sure it has ice in it from your cold frigid heart Naraku. Oh, wait…that’s right. You have a human heart.” She said…her eyes were a deep murky purple. Naraku swiftly put his hand on the barrier and shots of energy began to hit Kaida. She was thrown to the center of the room, but again she didn’t scream. “I’m not going to give him the pleasure.” She thought as she winced at the pain. He finally put his hands down and walked away leaving Kaida out cold on the floor.
