It Begins
Hello everyone thanks for the reviews that I have recieved so far and the emails. I have had several suggens ans about the pairings. So I have decided to take a poll between Sessho and Kouga. I will decide within the next few chapters. Please read and review.
Sonya turned around doing her best impression of being on the catwalk. The old lady Kaede had provided her with the traditional miko garments. She was now sporting the red baggie pants and white top. With the exception of some much needed improvising from yours trully. The shirt now reached just above her belly showing off tatttattoo and her bellyring.
Kagome had been nice to offer a pair of sneakers. Now she didn't have to worry about wearing her boots or those silly looking saddles. Her hair was pulled up in a ponytail high on her head and she kept her contacts in deciding it best to actually see where she was going.
It was nice not to be stared at but even nicer to see the trees before she ran face first into them. Thirty minutes of primping and they were ready to go.
The sun was was high in the sky and the wind was providing a nice breeze. Kagome and Sonya once again took up the back while the others took the lead. This time Shippo joined the girls trying to understand what they were discussing.
"By the way can you speak english Kagome?" Sonya tilted her head waiting for the answer.
"Yes, never really had to but I took it up in junior high." Kagome smiled when she thought of why the question was asked. She decided to play the game with her new friend. Obviously she wanted to talk and didn't want others listening. So, their talk began.
"So tell me more of this Kikyo woman. Sounds to me like shes in the way." She saw the hanyou's ears perk up trying to hear them. She was sure he understood atleast Kikyo's name.
"Umm, well I love Inuyasha but hes so stuck on her that he doesn't see anyone else. Much less me." A deep sigh sounded from her lips. " Shes tried to kill me several times and has tried to drag him to hell with her. He still plans to go with her after Naraku is deafeated. He doesn't care for me the same as her. I'm just his friend and shard detector."
"I don't think so. I must admit he's kind of crude and bossy. But I think deep down he cares for you," the blonde paused to think. "I think he cares by the way he looks at you. When you aren't looking he kind of stares at you with a longing look in his eyes. If I had to guess I'd say he has the hots for you girl. A man only looks at you like that when he wants to shag. Take it from me I'm not too sure about love but he atleast wants in them panties."
She watched Kagome's face turn three shades of red. "Oh my, you are blushing. HAHAHAHA!
I'm sorry if I embarresed you. Guess I'm not one to hold my tongue. Are you saying you've never thought about things like that?"
"Ummm.. of course not.. I mean we haven't even kissed yet. I've thought of what it would feel like to kiss him but nothing other than that." She looked at the object of the conversation walking with his nose in the air as if sniffing. "He is really cute isn't he."
"He's alright, not really my type. I like my men to be manly." For some reason the group stopped but the conversatcontcontinued. "I am very picky. Probably why I am still single. How old are you anyway?"
"Only sixteen."
The wind picked up suddenly and Inuyasha stiffened. "Hmmph, why don't you two shut up. We got company."
"It's Kouga. I can sense two shards coming this way." Just then a whirlwind stopped in front of Inuyasha.
The wolf demon stopped in front of the hanyou. "Well if it isn't dog turd." He crossed his arms across his chest. "I've come to finally take my woman with me."
"She's not your woman so you can't have her." Inuyasha took a swung at the wolf.
Sonya saw the wind die down and out came someone very sexy. Her eyes took in everything about him. His dark hair which was held back in a ponytail down to his muscular legs. 'Wow, hes hot! He can't be human not with a tail. Look at those legs and that face.' Her thoughts got the better of her before she knew it she spoke out loud. "Now, thats what I call a man."
