A tender throbbing and severe dry mouth welcomed Kagome into the new day. She reluctantly awoke to silver hair reflecting the morning’s soft light painfully in her eyes.

“Sesshoumaru!? Wh-why are you here…?”

He cut her off with a bored tone, “You were inebriated and ranting about This Sesshoumaru. I was curious.”

She blinked a couple times and desperately tried to remember. Uh oh…

After an awkward moment she gathered the courage to ask, “What about?”

He lifted his head slightly to hide his amusement. “Tell me, miko, what did you mean by you would ‘give this dog a bone’?”
