Better That We Break

Anger seethed in the veins of Sesshomaru. He couldn't understand why, his father, the great Inutaisho had left everything behind, him, his mother, their land, to save an unworthy human who to his misfortune, had bore a tainted hanyou. This mortal woman was the cause of his father's death and the cause of his mother's misery. How many times did he see his mother weep due to his father's constant absence? Too many times to count.

He scoffed at the useless sword, Tenseiga, that was forged from his father's fang. To think his father would have wanted the best for him, for he was now the new Lord of the Western Lands.

She felt her lungs expanding in and out painfully. Her legs were running as fast and far away as she could from her village, which was now infested with snake-like demons. Tears streamed down her face as she could vividly replay the scene of her parent's death in her mind.

''RUN KAGOME!'' she heard her mother's piercing voice in her head.

More tears came as she blamed herself for not aiding her parents. Instead, she just stood there in shock, watching, like a coward.

''Oomph!'' she yelped as she accidentally tripped on an unforeseen object. She found it hard to run through the forest in the obscurity of the night. She panicked as the impact of her fall caused her bow to fall out of her grip, thus, leaving her unarmed.

She grabbed an arrow and held it tightly in her hand while searching the dirt filled ground for her bow. She found her bow after relentless searching and the next thing she heard, made her heartbeat quicken. There, in front of her were 4 snake demons, with glowing red eyes that glinted with malice.

''Think you could essscape usss?'' it hissed, coming closer to her.

Her eyes hardened. ''What do you want from me?'' she yelled.

''Your purity...''another one hissed.

She stood her ground and directed her arrow at them. ''Don't come any closer,'' she warned.

Their chests vibrated with laughter.

''Hold her down,'' the man instructed. He licked his lips. He couldn't wait to taste her.

She shuddered with fear and disgust. She wasn't going to let them have their way with her. Not without a fight. She was going to slaughter them, for her parents and for the downfall of her village. Her eyes fixated on the demons with a new found determination.

He hadn't missed that glow of white light in the forest. It was too bright to miss. Excitement was surging through his veins as he dissipated his flight cloud through mid-air and jumped off, running to the exact spot as to where he had seen the light. He was lead to a spot where 4 snake demons lay, dead and bloody. The smell wasn't pleasing to his sensitive nose. He sniffed the air and could smell something else. Something he despised.

Kagome stopped in her tracks. The only thing in sight was an abandoned well. Disregarding it, she wiped the wet substance from her cheeks and remained still.

''Who's there?'' she managed to say. Every part of her body ached, especially in between her legs where she was violated. Her attire was ripped, showing parts of her body that she would prefer to be covered.

''Who's there?!'' she repeated once again. Her head spun to the sound of a cracking branch.

''Who's THERE?!'' the human woman screeched. Who knew taunting a human would bring him such pleasure? He laughed internally as she trembled on the spot, along with her pathetic weapons, the bow and arrow.

He emerged from the shadows and made his presence visible. She let a shot go and with his fast reflexes, had caught the arrow. He smirked and snapped the arrow in half.

Surely she could not have been the one that killed those demons earlier, he thought. It was his turn to be surprised as the woman approached him with such familiarity. He observed that her clothing that was ripped and covered in patches of blood.

''I apologize...Great Inutaisho-but I thought you were dead. I'm sorry for attacking you-'' she said.

His eyes widened and became bloodshot.''How do you know my father, pathetic human?''he bellowed, and grabbed her by the neck. He dropped her to the ground harshly, the impact making her scrape her knees. She planted her palms to the ground and started to cough, with drops of fresh blood staining the soil.

He kicked her from underneath, and she fell face down on the ground while holding her stomach painfully.

''Please...''she whimpered and tried to stand up. She dodged the impact of his large palms and backed up, bumping into a tree. She lifted herself up.

''Tell me, where you another of my father's human whores?'' he asked and grabbed her breast painfully.

''Don't touch me--'' she pleaded, but he did not release his hold on her.

''I wonder...what exactly did he see in you humans?'' he chuckled, looking down at her. ''So pitiful...so frail...''he said, clawing his hand up her exposed, creamy white thighs, drawing a thin line of blood.

''Your father was a compassionate man. He saved my brother Sota, from being mauled by wolves,'' she said, her voice trembling.

He snickered, 'He always did have a soft spot for them...and yet,ironically, it was them that killed him in the end.''

He could smell the blood coming from in between her legs. The smell assaulted his nose and stirred up some animalistic urges. He cupped her womanhood and then inserted a large, clawed finger up her tight, bloody entrance.

A scream ripped from her lips from the intrusion. She felt his sharp claws interfere with her insides and it was far from pleasurable. She felt her breath being knocked out as he slammed her to the floor.

''On your knees,'' he commanded as he untied his hakama.

She panted heavily and spat at his feet. ''Never.''

She had wished she died with her parents then suffer through this. As she was about to spit out his vile seed that was in her mouth, she felt his hand clamp her mouth shut, telling her to swallow it.

'What have I done to deserve such punishment?' she thought in her mind.

The next thing she knew, he grabbed both her arms and pulled them behind her. The worst was coming, she thought. She squirmed as she felt his large erection poking at the hilt of her slit. He groaned and she felt him stretch her arms further as he rammed his member deep into her hole.

He snarled as he felt a surge of power flow through her and shock his body and burn his hands. So this woman was a miko, he thought. He was getting tiresome of her, now that he thought about it. But he would play with her for now. He ran after her and summoned his poison whip from his right hand.

A sadistic smile formed upon his face as he slashed her barren back with the whip. She fell to the floor and writhed in pain, with Sesshomaru looking down at her.

Suddenly, she remembered a memory from when she was younger.

''Thank you for saving my brother, Great Inutaisho!'' Kagome smiled happily. The Great Demon Lord patted her head.

''You're welcome my dear. What is your name?'' he asked.

Kagome beamed up, she felt such an honour being in his presence.''Kagome!''

''Well, Kagome,I wish your brother, Sota a safe recovery,'' he smiled back.

She could sense his distress. ''Is there something the matter?''

''Nothing,'' he replied. ''It's just that I'm having a conflict with my own son, Sesshomaru. He's a bit older than you are now and is very stubborn!''

''Maybe you can bring him home a present?'' she suggested. ''My papa always makes me a toy out of wood when he wants to cheer me up! Here! I can give you one of my toys! Maybe Sessho..Sesshy-amarru will like it,'' she said shyly and ran back to the hut to retrieve her toy.

He looked down at her with no pity. It would take a few hours for the poison to completely take it's toll and kill her. For now, she was going to die a very, very, slow and painful death. He left her on the ground and walked away.

''Sesshomaru...'' the name escaped Kagome's lips softly.

His demonic hearing had heard his name being called but thought he was just being paranoid. He disregarded it and kept walking away. He had other things of important matter to tend to.
