Forbidden Love
Edit: Please forgive spelling and Grammer this is my first fanfic writing.
The Meeting
Kagome wandered deep in thought not even realizing the golden eyes that had watched her movements for the last two days. She had been thinking of what had happened and wondered what would happen next. She didnt even realize how close she had wandered to the Western land... Sesshomaru's land.
*Flashback*
The group had beaten Naraku and recovered the last of the shards from him, Koga had given up the two shards in which he possed shortly after the fight against naraku had ended, making the Jewel of Four Souls complete. Apon the completion of the jewel Kagome had recieved four wishes. Knowing how much Inu Yasha loved Kikyo, she had wished for that first, she wished that kikyo would come back to life so that she and Inu yasha could live happily togther. For her second wish, she wished that Kohaku lived so that songo would stop crying for her brother. For miroku she wished that he and Songo would live happily and have lots of kids. For her final wish, she wished to keep Kaedes Village safe from harm for all enternity.
With all four wishes done she was told that the well had been close. The Forth soul in the jewel told her that there was one way for her to reopen the well but would not give details. kagaome was to figuer that oune out on her own, All the soul had stated to this matter was that she was to follow her heart.
*End Flashback*
Kagaome was jarred out of her deep thoughts, when she heard a russle in the leaves off. She quickly and swiftly raised her bow and armed it, out of the underbrush crawled a small demon all covered in blood. She looked at it wish Sesshomaru had been thankful for becasue if she had looked up she would of seen him, all of a sudden a demon came out of the woods and grabbed the smaller demon, looked straight at kagome and hissed, showing her teeth, she fired and missed "shit" she though as she rearmed, fired again and missed again.Sessy fianlly having enough of wathcing this cene unfold, Jumped down from the tree and sliced the demon in half with tokjin, the smaller demon dropped to the ground and ran.
Kagome jumped back and screeched with fright. She always knew that Sesshomaru hated humans and now that she was alone he could kill her without any problems. He turned toward her and looked at her, the first thought in her head was "Im dead, hes goning to kill me", He started to walk toward her and her breath caught in her throat, she closed her eyes waiting for his sword to slice her. When it didnt she opened her eyes to see him standing beside her looking down at her he asked, "are you alright?"
Kagome let out the breath shed been holding and answered him, "yes, thank you for saving me". She looked up and looked into his eyes, noticing that the once hardned expression in his eyes were gone, al; she could see now was wonder, love and confusion. As Sesshomaru started to walk away his hand grabbed hers as he tugged on her to follow and he was thankful when she did.
She followed him for a good while when he fianally stopped in a field of flowers, he bent down, picked one, and handed it to her. "Whats going on" she thought "I thought he hated humans yet he handing me a flower". As if reading her thoughts, he spoke, "Kagome" he started "Ive been watching you for some time and found myself falling farther and farther in love with you. I never truely hated humans, I just thought I did and when I first saw you i knew that I had been lying to myself." He paused and looked at her "I felt you heading towards the boundries of my land and had to come find out why, I had been following you for the last two days, wondering what had happened and why my pesky brother wasnt with you."
She looked back at him and told he story of the fight with Naruku, and the wioshes that she had made, along with what the soul had told her. The whole time she was telling Sesshomaru this, she kept thinking to herself "why am i telling this to him, and why do I feel this much trust in him to be this close?" After she had finished Sesshomaru looked down at her and noticed a tear in her eye, she wanted to go home and couldnt, and the damn soul had not given her any clues on how she could open the well so that she could, He growled.
