ATTN: SOME THINGS WERE CHANGED IN THIS CHAPTER TO BETTER FIT THE STORY. I HAD CAUGHT UP AS MUCH AS I COULD WITH OHSCH MANGA. Summery: Back in the modern Era Kagome must move on with her life. Only her past had come back to greet her upon her return. OHSHC/IY Xover
This is a side story so don’t expect the chapters to be long. This story is as the title says A diary. The first section of every chapter will be in first person Kagome and the rest would be an the detail of what she wrote so it is like a bunch of interconnecting oneshots that will turn into a short story. The pairing have yet to be decided and I figured to write this as Kagome dressing as a girl because in all other stories I have read she is dressed in the male uniform.

Chapter One
Living in the future
My name is Kagome Higurashi and I am 17 years old. On my 15th birthday my life changed forever. I had found out that not only an I the reincarnation of a powerful Miko, but I was also the guardian of an ancient powerful relic. I had spent the last year of my life travel pack 500 years in time to search for a jewel I had shattered BY ACCIDENT! While in the past I had come to know many wonderful people and demons. Though I met many only few held such a close spot to my heart. One was the first I met while in the past, Inuyasha.
Inuyasha is an half dog demon with silver hair and cute puppy ears. He is loud and brash often rude, but he was also caring loyal and he was my best friend. The next person I met was Shippo.
Shippo is a young kitsune kit with auburn hair and green eyes. He also had the cutest fluffy tan tail. He is a major prankster and loved to instigate Inuyasha so I would sit him. The Mischievous little Shippo is the little brother of my heart. The next we met was the cunning Monk Miroku.
Miroku is a Buddhist monk who is on the lecherous side. He is cunning, sly, and very quick witted. The Lecherous Monk is the big brother of my heart. Last and certainly not least was the Strong demon slayer Sango and her companion Kirara.
Sango is a demon slayer one of the last and Kirara her companion is a fire cat demon. Sango is loyal, strong, brave and caring. She is the sister of my heart.
They are the family I had made while I continued my search in the past and the ones I miss the most now in the future. When I had returned home their was someone at the shrine waiting for me. It was the last person I had ever thought to see and scared to see at the same time. And though we were not enemies in the past we were not friends either. I had found out that Inuyasha had asked him to watch out for me in the future and as payment Inuyasha told him things that would insure he would be as powerful in the future as he was in the past. Money, money is what makes one powerful now, not his prowess in the battle field with a sword. No what made one powerful now was money and smarts, since he had both in the past it was not hard for his to insure he would have it in the future and the information he had gotten from Inuyasha just ensured he knew what to spend his money on. When the age of technology had come Sesshomaru was ready for it.
He had told me that Inuyasha wanted to make sure that me and my family never had the want nor need for money in the future. Little did I know was that this conversation would be another life changing thing in my life.

His brothers wishes was fine with him seeing as how he could use miko, it was bothersome to fake death every few decades and that was not even counting the fake children he had to have so he could keep his riches. With the miko he would not have to worry about the pretenses of an heir because he could make her his. Of course the miko and her family would know what he was so he could continue to use the family for this purpose even while she had passed away if he decided to continue watch over her family after she dies. He knew the miko would not mind because she would be working for the riches she had access too and not be given a handout. He knew she would not accept it otherwise. If she was to be his heir however, she would need to be prepared for it. This was the reason he was waiting for her by the well.
She begins her Sophomore year in high school this year and the miko needed to know that she will not be attending the school she had thought. No, the miko will be attending a school befitting someone of her station. If she went to a normal school then he would have to worry about kidnappings and what not, but at this school they have precautions against that sort of thing.

“This is not up for discussion Miko. You had agreed to become my heir and as such you must gain the education that will ready you for such an opportunity.” The cool baritone voice of Sesshomaru said in a demanding tone that told her in certain terms that she would be going to this school.
“But, Sesshomaru! Ouran High School is too far away from the shine! What am I, where am I going to live during the week?” Kagome complained not liking the fact that she had to leave her family yet again. She knew that this school was the best Japan had to offer and should be grateful that she could even get in with her grades, but ‘damn it, I don’t want to leave home again!’ Kagome pouted within the safety of her mind knowing that Sesshomaru had already won the argument.
“Matters not Miko, you can come home on weekends so your argument is meaningless. You must be prepared for your future and this school will prepare you the best. You start You will live in the mansion I had purchased several years ago for this purpose. You will receive your uniform within the next few days.” He stated knowing by her scent that she has accepted defeat.
Sigh, “fine” with her reply he nods then turns to take his leave only to be stopped by her next comment “And Sesshomaru..” she waited until he was looking at her “thank you for… well.. you know.”
He nods his head in welcome knowing that she was thanking him for his support though she need not too. They were helping each other after all.
