A/N: This is an idea i had just this morning. If you like it, good. if you don't like it, let me know so i can give you a big, fat "I don't give a f***." (p.s. pregnancy sucks).

One:
Inuyasha had always loved Kagome Higurashi.
Well, not at first. At least he would admit it; he'd told her before that he was one very pissed off hanyou when she first released him from him slumber against the Goshinboku.
But he loved her now. He loved her as she rode on his back through the woods and up the mountains. He loved her as she smiled and laughed and cooked him instant noodles. He loved her as she stood in the middle of the battlefield, fierce and strong, her bowstring pulled back tight.
Inuyasha didn't think he could love her more.
Soon after the final battle, which resulted in Naraku's death, Inuyasha and Kagome shared their true feelings with each other. They made love that night high in the branches of the Goshinboku, the first time for both of them. They became mates that night as well.
For some strange reason, despite the Shikon Jewel being made whole, the Bone Eater's Well remained a portal to and from the modern era. Kagome and Inuyasha decided that they would maintain a normal life in the modern era and return to the feudal era to visit.
Kagome's mother and little brother was ecstatic; her grandpa, not so much. But he bit his tongue and sat with her mother to help fill out some of Inuyasha's paperwork. They met with the modern Sesshomaru and Shippo, who had both survived the long 500 years between the feudal and modern eras. Between the two of them, they got Inuyasha all situated; within a week, he was set up with a good, solid job in construction, and he was now known in the modern era as Inuyasha Taisho.
A month later, two days after they found out about Kagome's first pregnancy, they were married. It was a big ceremony; her mother cried, her grandfather sulked some, even Sesshomaru, Rin, Shippo, and Shippo's mate Ko attended.
In less than a year, they had a nice, small house on the same lands as the shrine and a bouncy pair of baby girls.
The older twin, Ashley, had Inuyasha's silvery hair with some of Kagome's black mixed in around the roots and tips. It was cut short, and she also had her mother's deep, chocolate eyes and some meager Miko power; however, she also had her father's keen sense of smell and a little more strength than your average human girl. She was book smart, very intelligent, and clumsy; she earned her M.D. by the age of 23.
The younger twin, Rika, was human in just about every way; her hair was long and curly and raven black, and she had none of Inuyasha's extra physical abilities. However, what she lacked in demonic capabilities, Rika more than made up for with her Miko powers; she was as powerful, if not more so, as her mother. She did seem to inherit Inuyasha's temper, bright eyes, and grace.
Kagome finished college while helping Inuyasha raise the twins; she became, ironically, a high school history teacher, her main focus being on the feudal era. Inuyasha branched off into making his own construction business, and it flourished. And eight years after their wedding, Inuyasha and Kagome Taisho welcomed their third pup.
They named her Kaminari for "lightning" because the pregnancy was quite the abnormality; it only lasted a grand total of four months. The pup resembled Inuyasha spectacularly; she grew to be tall and lean, reaching the physical age of twenty within just ten years. Kaminari had her father's big, bright orbs, long, midnight-black hair like her mother's, and all of Inuyasha's extra senses and abilities. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to sport her mother's Miko power in the least. She was sweet and calm and caring like her mother, though, and this helped to calm her parents - though they still fretted and freaked as she continued to grow at such an astonishing rate.
Soon after her aging slowed down, Kagome and Inuyasha stopped worrying; they had been seeing several youkai doctors for years trying to find out what was wrong, and each doctor they encountered told them not to worry, that things like this were normal. The only thing that they could see that was out of the norm was that their pups didn't seem to be playing by the normal rules of genetics; only the first-born, Ashley, seemed to resemble the classic example of a quarter-demon. Rika and Kaminari were just blessed with varying degrees of each parent's qualities.
It took Kagome and Inuyasha twelve years to get over the scare of Kaminari's abnormal growth rate; when they finally did, they decided to have more pups. So, twenty-three years after Kaminari's birth, the Taisho's had their fourth pup, Ari.
She was a feisty one from the start. Born completely human, Ari resembled Kagome completely - on the outside. Personality-wise, she more resembled her father; temperamental, stubborn, extremely self-confident, and much more likely to hide her true nature/feelings. She grew at a very normal, human rate, and when she was grown, she turned out to, still, look exactly like Kagome and nothing like Inuyasha. Most would have assumed that she was indeed not Inuyasha's child, but there were two factors that kept anyone from thinking so: A) Kagome would never cheat on Inuyasha (of course), and B) Ari was the only one of the pups that the Tetsusaiga would respond to.
By the time Ari was seventeen years old, her sister Kaminari was already forty years old, and the twins were both a whopping forty-seven years old. They were both nearing what the demons in both eras knew as "maturity," and Inuyasha was the one who needed to see about getting the two of them mated and set up with their own families, as is the custom in the average inuyoukai pack.
Problem was, Inuyasha didn't like the thought of any male having anything to do with his daughters. He was very protective of all four of them, even though he sat back one night and thought about all the horrors he'd had to endure all these nearly-fifty years; he lived in a house full of women. He was, honestly, tired of being stuck with all these women.
But he didn't want any males touching his girls. They were too precious, too innocent... ok, well, maybe not innocent; Rika was always sneaking off to the feudal era to meet with her nekoyoukai honey (which Inuyasha COMPLETELY disapproved off), and Ashley always seemed to have a new boyfriend for each day of the week. Kaminari, thankfully, had never seemed all too interested in boys, but the absence of men in her life was beginning to make Kagome worry. Ari was still too young; if she wanted to go out on a date, her father would hear NONE of it.
So how could Inuyasha escape this house full of girls without handing any of them over to males who, he feared, would never treat them the way they deserve?
"Kagome, I want a boy."

A/N: haha. this is just going to be a funny little thing. i just absolutely LOVE writing about inu and kag having kids; their kids are so fun to make.
at least, this'll be fun for most of it. there will be some dark chappies, depending on my mood. and, as you can probably tell from my strange author's notes, i'm PRETTY moody lately.
