"Finally" Yuki huffed in a tired tone while plopping on to the couch in his new living room. The move was finally complete; his brother Ayumi even helped him find the place he moved to. Yuki was excepted into Tokyo University and Ayumi already living within Tokyo was able to find him a nice place 'which of course he blew out of proportion with his 'brotherly bonding' he is such a drama queen.' Yuki thought while looking at his ceiling his first day of college life starts tomorrow. He could not help but wonder where his life will go from here. Tohru when she graduated from high school had decided that she wanted to follow the cat, so she did not apply to university and now he was alone once again.
Yuki decided it best not to think on such things and thought it best to go to bed so he could have an early start. There was much he needed to do tomorrow.

"Kagome do you have everything you need for registration?" Mrs. Higurashi asked standing at the bottom of the stairs calling up to her daughter.
"Yes mom I’m all set and ready to go." Kagome said walking out of her room dressed and ready to go.
"Good you should get going you don’t want to be late for any of your classes. Especially since you don’t know how long it will take to register." Mrs. Higurashi stated watching as her daughter walks down the stairs. Time goes by so quickly it seemed like just yesterday she started middle school and now she is on her way to college. She knew that it was a miracle for Kagome to have been accepted due to her problems with travelling to the past and missing so much school. But some how she pulled it off and now was on her way to college.
Kagome could not believe this day had come either, but she had thought she would be in the past married to Inuyasha by now. But that was not how things turned out. When they had finally defeated Naraku and completed the jewel they returned to Kaede's village. They spoke about what needed to be done with the jewel to insure its protection and Kaede suggested that Kagome return home. Of course Inuyasha did not like this one bit and venomously refused much to Kagome's appreciation. But once a new demon came to the village after the Jewel Inuyasha decided that it would be safer for Kagome to return home.
Kagome got sent home in a parade of hugs and tears. No one wanted her to go, but it was for her safety. Kaede had given Kagome a series of scrolls and told her to read them and learn her powers should she ever need to protect the jewel while in her time. Kagome had accepted the gift with thanks and now she realized why there was no training scrolls within the achieve at her shrine. 'Because they were given to me.' Kagome had searched hoping to find something a few years back but came up empty handed now she knew why. There was one thing she wished though since she had returned to the future.
Kagome wanted to find the location of the old youkai slayer village so that she might be able to see if her friends left any kind of news for her. She also wanted to visit Midoriko's cave knowing that it would still be there because of the barrier spell keeping anyone from entering. There were a few things she wanted to try.
The last time the jewel was within the cave when Myoga had brought it in the demon spirits had arisen. Kagome thinks that if she can purify the remaining demon spirits it may lesson the power of the jewel or at least allow the battle within to be tipped in Midoriko's favor. Kagome however had no time to search for the location because she was to busy trying to catch up with her school work. Now however she might be able to spare sometime during school breaks. Only time will tell.

"Freshman this way. Freshman this way" yelled a girl with short black hair waving her hands in the air to gain the attention of the freshman’s. She was with the welcoming committee and it was her duty to bring the entire freshman to the auditorium.
Kagome heard the yelling and looked around to see who it was. Once she spotted the woman she quickly made it towards her all the while dodging the living body of almost every freshman in the school all trying to get to the same place.
His brother had warned him that today would be hectic with all the people trying to push each other over to get to the same place. Which was why he was now dodging trying to avoid all the girls rushing passed him almost bumping into him. Purposefully moving in the way of other boys to get out of the way of rushing girls, he was to busy dodging a girl coming from his left and right that he did not think to look behind him and took a quick jump back.
Left, right, left she ran while dodging the rushing student body. There was a clear path in front of her for a few feet so she ran ready to run around the boy standing a few feet in front of her when all of a sudden he jumped back. "Shit" she said unable to stop in time before they collided back to chest and she fell taking him down with her.
He heard the feminine voice of the person he just jumped into 'oh no' he thought in dismay as he rotated his body to catch his fall. All the while ready for the moment when he transformed.
Her back made the connection with the cement with an "umf" as she lifted her hands to stop him from falling on her to hard.
He felt her hands and knew he was screw he closes his eyes ready to open them when he had transformed.
Kagome looks at the boy his eyes were closed he had the look of fear all over his face she was worried "Are you alright? Did you break anything?"
Now he was freaking but for a different reason then he was a few moments ago. He knows she is a she he could feel the proof. Her breast were tightly pressed against him there was no way he could not notice that. Then there was also the lack of a bulge in the pants signifying she has no penis. He was lying on top of a woman and she was holding onto him and he was not changing what did this mean? He had no clue but he would call Shiguir the first chance he got. "Sorry" he said while attempting to dislodge himself from the fallen girl. He lends out a hand to help her up which she accepts with a smile.
"No prob really. The names Kagome. Kagome Higurashi and you are?" she asked with a smile there hands still entwined.
"Yuki. Yuki Sohma." he said looking into her eyes. She was very beautiful and she had the most curious eye color he had ever seen. Her eyes were dark blue but held small specs of pink. You would not see it unless you were paying very close attention. Strange coloring of the hair and eyes was something he had always contributed to the Zodiac curse and he knew she was not of it, so why was her eyes so different?
"Nice to meet you Yuki are you a freshman as well?" she asked now noticing they were still holding hands. She blushed prettily and took her hand back and cradled it with her other.
"Yes I am. Sorry about bumping into you I was trying to dodge on coming traffic that I did not look behind Me." he apologized with a pleasant smile. All of a sudden his day does not seem so dark.
"It was no problem I had seen you coming but was unable to stop myself so it is as much my fault as it is yours. Would you like to come with me to the auditorium? It maybe easier to dodge people when you have someone watching your back." Kagome asked now taking a good look at the boy. He had purplish hair with a silver tint and the most beautiful violet eyes she had ever seen. More so then Miroku's violet eyes.
"I would love to Ms. Kagome" he said offering her his arm which she took with a smile.
"Just Kagome please. I would like for us to be friends and my friends call me Kagome." she replied as they began walking towards the now huge group of freshman.
"Kagome it is then." Yuki replied while looking out the side of his eyes at her. He could not understand it. Never had anything like this happened before so what was it about her that allowed them to embrace without him having to worry about changing?
