This is my first fanfic that Ive written in a long while.
I decided to try and make one that consist's of more than 3 chapters and not a one shot.
Hopefully I won't be eaten alive by the rabid readers of Inu-yasha/kagome fics..

Kagome sat in her room, silently looking out the window. A bunch of things we're running rampant in her head. She had, had times like this before when she was in the feudal era with Inu-yasha and the rest of them, but, they had never been so vivid then as they were now. The memories of her hanging out with Inu-yasha, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo. Memories from when Kouga had kidnapped her and called her his mate, thus causing a rise to come forth from Inu-Yasha. She chuckled softly at the image of the look of horror on the hanyou's face when Kouga wrapped his hand lowly around her waist and said that she was his and that the "Little Pup" wasn't man enough for her.
Kagome sighed when the thought of her and Inu-yasha talked about their memories. When she gave him the locket from the time right before they had to face the Moon Princess. The moments that Inu-Yasha was fighting with himself while he was being forced to transform. When she kissed him, tears streaming down her face in fear that he would no longer be by her side in anyway.
Shivering, she pulled her comforter around her as more questions flooded her mind. Could she really be jealous of the way that he looked longingly after Kikyo whenever she was around? Why couldn't he ever look at her that way? Looking at the clock, it read 4:38am.
It was too early.
Exhaling, she undressed down to her underwear, tossing the rest of her clothes to the corner of the room. Kagome slipped under her comforter and soon fell asleep.
About two hours later...
Inu-yasha peeked his head out of the well, his ears perked up to catch the slightest sound. Her era was so strange, it seemed that the only few things that was good about it was ramen and the occasional demon that escapes into her world. Inu-Yasha pulled himself up and over the wells edge. He scoffed at himself when he nearly thought the word "Domain" instead or era or world.
" Why would I think that?! Not like she's a queen here, jeez. "
He whispered harshly to himself and proceeded to roll his eyes. His golden eyes wandered to Kagome's window. Her curtains were fluttering gently in the soft cold breeze. Inu-Yasha lifted his sensitive nose to the air and inhaled deeply. His eyes half lidded themselves as he nearly lost his balance when he caught the scent of her soft sweet musk in the air. It was intoxicating and he couldn't get enough of it.
Inu-Yasha decided to "Follow his nose" and bounded up the tree that was outside her window and crept into Kagome's room.
Kagome was still sleeping softly when the hanyou entered her window. He made sure to remove the batteries from that stupid clock he tripped over one time before, startling her and scaring the daylights out of him. Kagome was topless when she fell out of bed at the loud noise from his stumble. She shrieked "SIT!" at his gaze which was aimed towards her chest.
Inu-yahsa's reminiscing caused him to wince slightly. He could not believe the headache he had afterwards. It lasted for at least a day and it was torture for him. And Lady Kaede did NOT help when she whacked the boy over his head with her priestesses staff. Clenching his fist and grinding his teeth, he swore she would get hers one day. The hanyou stopped thinking and let his gaze wonder to Kagome's bed.
Kagome lay there breathing softly, her chest rising and falling with the rythym of his heartbeat. He sighed painfully at her beauty. He'd always admired her from afar but he'd never said anything, due to so many more important things that had always gotten in the way. Besides, Inu-Yasha had always thought to himself whether it was worth it to chase her or not. What good or benefit would she come with to him if they we're together? More importantly, how long would they last together? All couples that we're together once and broke themselves apart had always said in one time or another in their relationships that they wanted to be with one another forever. Kagome had explained this to him after he had watched two people fight over their relationship problems. Kagome moved slightly in her slumber, startling Inu-yasha slightly. He didn't move, fear of her waking up and sitting him again. He was about to leave out the window and go home to his era but he stopped when Kagome exhaled something slightly incoherent, but it was clear to him.
"..Inu-...yasha..oh..mm.."
What the hell? He stopped in surprise. Kagome had moaned his name, first off, that was a feat he'd never though possible. Second off, Holy hell, she actually M-O-A-N-E-D to him and what had scared him was the fact that he yearned to her hear voice again. Inu-Yasha closed his eyes and imagined Kagome's soft voice moaning to him as he played with her. His face grew red as he felt a tightening sensation in his pants. Forgetting everything he had thought before, he now wondered if it was even at all possible for her to love him. Kagome stirred again and opened her eyes and her gaze locked with his. Inu-Yasha froze in fear and wrenched his eyes shut, even though his back was towards her. Then he heard her voice.
" What in gods name are you doing in my bedroom? "
He knew he was in for it now..
..damn it..
