Celina was curled up on the bed in the room Ash had told her to sleep in at Ash’s New Jersey friend’s beachfront home. Ash’s friend had yet to make an appearance for the month they had been there, but was suppose to return before they left. They were scheduled to return to Japan at the end of this week. Celina knew she could not avoid Koga forever, but a few more weeks would have been nice. Whom was she kidding? A few years was what she needed, unfortunately she only had four days.

“Are you coming down for breakfast?” Ash asked, as she leaned against the door jam. Celina pulled the covers over her head and rolled over. They both heard the front door open and shut and foot steps running up the stairs.

“Ash you’re not going to believe it!” the female with shoulder length purple hair huffed as she leaned on the hallway wall next to the door catching her breath. “Sammie has gone too far this time!”

“Sammie is?” Ash asked, as she looked at Celina sitting up. “Oh by the way, Celina this is Chris Fuga, owner of this house. Chris this is Celina Tashio, my friend’s daughter.”

“Great, nice to meet you,” Chris shook her head. “Back to business Sammie is the necromancer who has the ability to place spirits into wax dolls for a short period of time.”

“Oh her,” Ash snorted, as she stifled a laugh. Her thoughts had traveled to the first time she met the girl, she had Benjamin Franklin in a wax doll and they were having tea and discussing the weather. The girl had talent in necromancy, it could not be denied even if she did abuse her powers, a lot. “I thought it was determined if her animated wax dolls caused no harm we would leave her be.”

“This time it is different,” Chris scoffed, as she pointed downstairs. “You want to know what I have sitting in my living room right now! I’ll tell you! Sammie the dumbass she is let some fool give her a bone as a gift. This bone had a spirit attached to it. Moreover, her being who she is could not ignore the spirit, who turned out to be a demon mind you. Well this demon had unfinished business, and she was going to place it in a wax body!”

“And the problem is?” Ash asked as she cocked a blond eyebrow at the now pacing woman.

“The problem is that the wax body exploded as soon as she tried to place the spirit into it! Chris huffed, as she continued pacing up and down the short hall. “The problem is the bone was in the wax body. That bone started to turn into a full formed skeleton and then veins and nerves. Let us not forget the organs, muscle, and flesh! Soon she had a reborn demon standing in front of her naked as the day he was born! Well okay, he was just reborn, but he has all his memories up until after he died, but he knew he died! Now he is sitting in my goddess forsaken living room!!”

“So where is the problem?” Ash asked. Chris stared at her a moment, dumbfounded, before she screamed and stormed back downstairs. “I love torturing her. Want to meet this demon?”

“Mind if I get dressed first,” Celina yawned as she stretched her arms over her head.

“Hurry up then,” Ash replied, amused with her proper etiquette, as Ash was parading around in purple boxers and a white tank top. “Demons and their old ways!”

“Bite me!” Celina shouted down the hall and she shut the door. As soon as the door closed, she started chanting her mantra in her head once again. ‘Don’t think of Koga! Do not think of Koga! Do not think of Koga you stupid stupid girl!’

She quickly discarded her white silk nightgown into the hamper and replaced it with a pale yellow sundress. After putting on new undergarments and brushing her hair, she headed out the room and down the stairs. Reaching the bottom, she took a quick left turn into the living room and proceeded to drop her jaw.

“Can I kill someone please?” Taijina asked nicely through her gritted teeth, as something made of glass was heard shattering. “I’m five months pregnant, and could go into stress induced labor before I reach my sixth and final month!”

“Come mother,” Tasshomaru replied, as he watched his mother paced back and forth. He was ordered to take her into the library after she almost beheaded a servant for dropping a silver tray. The whole castle was in mass chaos trying to have everything perfect for the mating ceremony. “Sit down and relax, before you start lopping off random servants’ heads. It could be worse. You could be like a human and carry a pup for nine months.”

“I wish you were born female so you could know what this feels like,” she hissed, as she plopped down in a chair. “You males know nothing of carrying a child for six months. Then after all that you basically push a watermelon out the hole the size of a quarter!”

“Thanks for the visual mom,” Tasshomaru groaned, as he went green in the face. “I think you just scarred me from ever taking a mate.”

“Get over it,” she growled, from her seat. She felt Sesshomaru approaching the library and was the last person she wanted to see right now. As soon as Sesshomaru opened the door, Tasshomaru saw his chance for escape. He was out the door and down the hall before Sesshomaru blinked.

“What did you do to him?” he asked as he closed the door and took a chair next to the couch.

“Told him the wonders of pregnancy,” she sulked as she sat back into the couch. “I also forgot to mention peeing every two hours like clock work!”

“Darling, you should be taking it easy,” he told her, knowing not to touch her just yet. Sesshomaru knew by now you had to let her have her five minuets of a temper tantrum if you were going to move on. Let her get it out of her system made her easier to deal with. “You want to tell me what is really wrong?”

“NO!” she growled, turning her head from him. There was no way she was going to admit that besides the mating ceremony missing her daughter was a main reason she was sad and depressed. Beyond that, it was also the situation with a certain wolf that also had her blood boiling and her hands aching to snap some necks.

“Mya came early,” he informed her, as he stood up. “She offered to take over putting the finishing touches on the mating ceremony.”

“She is the new Lady of the South,” Taijina gaped, as she pushed some of her stray golden strands over her shoulder. “We cannot impose!”

“I have already informed her she could do as such,” he told her in a voice that said no argument. “You need rest. I will not have to endangering your life as well as the pup’s over this frivolous ceremony.”

“But…” she started, but he had already exited out the door and shut him behind him. “Bastard! Dammit I have to pee!”

“Dog breath, are you really that nervous?” Koga asked InuYasha as he was pacing back and forth across the room they were sitting in. InuYasha was avoiding his formal Kimono fitting, and Koga was helping him.

“Yeah,” he sighed, sitting on the floor in his fire rat robes. Always feeling safe and secure in the robes, he shoved his arms into his sleeves. “I waited over 500 years for this day to come and I never felt so fearful in my life.”

“Hm, better you then me,” Koga replied, thinking about a certain female that he would not mind being bound together forever. He looked up at InuYasha’s questioning stare. “Whatcha looking at Mutt face!”

“You spaced out there,” InuYasha replied being observant of Koga’s mood for the past month. “You get a far away look in your eyes every now and then. So who is she?”

“She? What do you mean she?!” Koga gaped, as he fell off the chair he was sitting in. “What are you talking about?”

“In the past you got that look on your face when you were thinking about Kagome,” InuYasha informed him. “Since I know you are over Kagome that means there is someone new in your life. Can’t be Ayame, she mating another mangy wolf three hundred years ago. So do I know her?”

“You’re crazy!” Koga laughed nervously as he bolted from the room. Looking like a tornado as he ran through the halls into his room and slammed the door. Leaning on the closed door of his room, he slid down to the floor. InuYasha’s questioning hit too close to home, and he almost confessed to InuYasha about his feelings for Celina. Where was she? Even though he would not admit it aloud, he missed the girl.
