Love against Time

CHAPTER ONE
Why do we argue?

Kagome walks up to a cottage, a man with long silver hair and dog ears on his head is sitting on the roof grumbling under his breath. It was her boyfriend Inuyasha.

"Kagome! Where were you!?" he shouts out in anger.

"Sit boy..." over the past few years of going back and forth into the future and fuedal era, Kagome has changed. Her sweet innocence was gone and only appeared some of the time around her friends and Inuyasha. She walked around fuedal Japan with short mini skirts, flat shoes and belly top shirts that exposed her belly button pericings. "Jeez, I only left the house to go assist Kaeda at the village." but she never stopped helping out.

Inuyasha jumped off of the roof and stood face to face with Kagome. She didn't flinch nor did she move back, she starred him dead in his golden dog-like eyes and challeneged him back. Inuyasha let his guard down and hugged her, she was startled with this new sign of affection and she only wished that she hadn't been so selfish, though she didn't bother to show those feelings out in the open. But she wasn't leaving him in out in the cold, she hugged him back and looked up at his face as she gave him a peck on the lips before retreating into the house.

Kagome went into her bedroom and relaxed with the cool breeze. Her and Inuyasha had been living together for 3 years now after the findings of Naruko and the sacred jewel. The jewel was now wrapped around Kagomes neck and she had this ability to hide it within her body whenever she was fighting with an enemy that desired its power. This ability took years to accomplish but it came in handy during battles.

Kagome grabbed a book from underneathe her bed and took out a pen that was clipped on the pocket of her jean skirt.

Dear Diary,
Today was pretty difficult and work wasn't easy either. Inuyasha keeps pissing me off with this "don't leave the house thing" and i have no clue why. Its like dude chill for a sec. Where in hell am i possibly going to go? This place is so odd theres no way i can remember which town is in which direction. which by the way is pretty pathetic including the fact that i use to travel all over fueadal japan and yet i don't know where one bloody town is. Life is different now, and i realize that. Sango and Miroku's child Skye is doing well. I wish i could see them but they've been so busy with Kohaku's memory lately and Skye that they never have the time to visit. Let alone come in town anymore. I walk out the streets and i see a change in the world. Demons and humans are actually in a way getting along. Ever since me and Inuyasha tied the knot, half demons don't feel the need to coward anymore. But now...i see little hanyous running around the town, and i try to think...are me and Inuyasha ready for that? All we ever do is argue and it makes me feel so envious to see all those good couples out there that look worried-free and have no problems. I just want to slap them and give them a taste of reality. I want a child...of my own...but with the present and past in my way...i have no real clue where i belong...and what if the baby can't travel back and forth like me and Inu can...that would be horrible...and i can't just loan the baby the jewel, thats dangerous...see its these questoins that prevent me from....well you know...doing THAT with Inuyasha...esp. since theres no protecion in this era. Its hard to wonder how me and Inuyasha havne't had one moment of pleasure other than making out all these years. Oh well the time will come when it comes theres no point fightng it.

AUTHORS NOTE: Yes i am aware that i switched the personalities of these two love birds. I man really do you wanna hear the same damn story over and over again, no i think not. I hope you like it. KUDOS!
