The Beginning Of Something Wonderful

All of their lives people knew they would end up as a couple. Ever since the day they met...
*Flashback*
A little silver haired and golden eyed boy stood by his fathers side watching all of the other children running around enjoying themselves.
His father always shook his head at him, because he would rather stand by him instead of being stupid like the other children.
"Sesshomaru why don't you go play, like the rest of the children?" Inu Tashio asked his son.
"I do not wish to." he answered back.
That's when Sesshomaru jumped into a tree branch up ahead of his father and gave a small cry as a little girl yanked on his hair. He sat in the tree massaging his head as his father laughed at him.
"Sorry... I didn't mean to pull it." the little girl said.
"Haha! It's alright little girl. What is your name?" Inu Tashio asked the adorable girl that stood in front of him.
The girl smiled up at him and blushed slightly at having others attention.
"My name is Kagome." she replied and then gave him a small bow.
Inu Tashio beamed at her and gave a bow of his own. "I'm Inu Tashio.. and that is my son Sesshomaru." he said pointing up to Sesshomaru, who just happened to be trying to get out of the tree, but he fell down instead.
Kagome ran over to him and kneeled down next to him. Their eyes met and she gave him a warm smile.
"Are you alright... Sesshomaru?" she asked him.
Sesshomaru couldn't understand what it was about her smile, but it made him feel warm inside and he returned it for once.
"I'm alright, thanks." he said as he got up.
Inu Tashio smiled at the pair of them and smiled inside. It was the first time his son had ever be ungraceful and some what strange in front of guests. He knew this was going to be a lasting relationship right off.
"So Kagome where is your parents?" Inu Tashio asked.
"Ummmm.... They already left." she replied smiling up at Inu Tashio as she unknowingly kept a hold on Sesshomaru's hand.
"They left you at a strangers house?" he asked shocked.
"He he... We only live next door. So it's not a big deal. Momma is going to be having a baby sometime soon so daddy wanted her to rest." she said.
"Awww... So your our new neighbors. That is fine. I'll be more than happy to walk you back at any time you wish to return." Inu Tashio said to the smiling girl.
"Thank you sir!" Kagome said as she gave him a small hug.
"Haha no problem. By the way your welcome here any time night or day." Inu Tashio said.
Sesshomaru and Kagome smiled at each other and ran off hand in hand. While Inu Tashio smirked at his son's back.
*End of Flashback*
Now they were in high school. They had been together since that very day. They knew it was love at first sight for the both of them.
Sesshomaru and Kagome's relationship had a very strong foundation, something that most relationships didn't truly have... friendship. They had friendship as well as love.
