Not Alone In The World

Crouched by the running river, a black haired female inuhanyo with a blue robe with her head cocked, the dog ears upon her head twitched listening to water as it slapped against the rock, whileas she stared with her golden eyes at the fishes swimming by. Her clawed hand twitched, waiting for the right moment before swiping a good size fish onto the rock she had perched on for what seemed like 30 minutes. Grinning proudly at herself, she ate the raw meat of the fish with small growls in pleasure at having food. Reina lifted to her feet after she was done and sniffed the air, murmuring beneath her breath, "Blood."

Hopping from tree branch to tree branch to come upon a village, death and blood hung in the air, stepping over bodies and holding the sleeve of her blue robe against her nose against the smell of the horrid death. Hearing a small gasp, she looked into one of the huts where she heard the gasp come from, her ears perked listening. What graced her eyes was the sight of a small child clinging to her deceased mother, images flew through her mind of herself clinging to her mother before her father had arrived to take her away. "Girl, what happened here?" She asked with curiosity.

"Demons, they came and destroyed the village, killed my mother." The girl clung to her leg as she cried, Reina could smell fear and knew scavenger demons would come to eat the bodies of the deceased and would most likely try to take this child. Awkwardly picking up the child she left the hut only to have to dodge a giant boomerang flying at her head. Growling at the group that stood before her with the child in her arms who clung to her robes. The sight that shocked her was the red clad inuhanyo that pointed a giant sword towards her, that radiated power, along with the girl in strange clothes, she smelt like a miko. "Release the kid!" The silver haired hanyo shouted ready to strike is she didn't oblige. Not wanting to fight, she lowered the girl and jumped into the trees running at full speed.

Hearing shouts and and hissed when she dodged an arrow and growled at the red form jumping after her. Her tail twitching in irratation, not noticing the form leap at her she felt a body collide with her, tumbling to the ground, clawing her way to escape. "Let go of me!" Growling in anger, she punched the hanyo when her arm was released and leapt to her feet before taking off so he won't point that sword at her. Her ears twitching at his curses of females, thinking she was away from danger she sat on a tree branch to rest for the night as the sun came down. Closing her eyes she leaned against the tree, memories of when she first slept out in the forest in the trees. Still being a pup and alone in the world, the sounds of insects frightened her but she managed to get used to it.

Hearing the seemingly soundless landing on the branch she was sitting on, golden eyes snapping open meeting red colored eyes only to feel a clawed hand against her throat pinning her from moving. Her own clawed hand gripping the wrist holding her, her anger evident from her glare at him. "Release me asshole!" Reina spit out while he tightened his grip on her throat. "Stay still" Hearing a growl in his voice she stilled her movements to notice him sniffing her hair and neck. Closing her eyes when he growled appreciatly at her scent. She could smell his arousal and hers just by his pleasurable growls. Just as he was there he disapeared with leap into the air, leaving her in a state of shock.
