A/n: I always wanted to contribute to the great vat of Naraku x Kagome stories you know there isn’t enough of them out there. I don’t really like flames but if you really want to bitch about it then go ahead I really won’t care in the end, just remember that this is my first Inu Yasha fic. Thanks for coming! ^^

Chapter 1: What is it worth?

Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo sat around the fire at the dead of night in the feudal era. Inu Yasha had recently left because he thought he smelt a demon and insisted on going alone.

“Do you want us to come with you?” The monk had asked

The half-breed glared angrily at Miroku “Oh like I can’t handle it?” he spat “I’ll be back in a little while.” Inu Yasha replied and left the group.

As Sango, Miroku and Shippo talked, Kagome’s mind was elsewhere. Something told her that something wasn’t right. Sango looked over to her troubled friend.

“Kagome is there something wrong?” She asked the brown-eyed miko

Kagome put on a smile “No nothing I’m just a little tiered.” Kagome replied not to worry her friends. “I think I’ll go to bed now.” She said as she got up to go away from the fire.

‘I need to find Inu Yasha’ She thought and adventured off into the forest to find the henyo.

Inu Yasha had ventured off from the group, not following what they had believed to be a demon but Kikyo. He had smelt one of her soul collectors and decided to follow it. Inu Yasha longed for her but didn’t tell the others about that, and that is why he left. This privacy would be a once in a life time chance. He wanted to make up with her, he loved her, and he never stopped thinking about her. So many times he had wanted to come out and say ‘Forgive me Kikyo I love you I would never hurt you!’, but what would Kagome think? Kagome even though he did have slight feeling for her it was more of a one sided love. He could tell that Kagome loved him and in a way he loved her too, but he needed to see Kikyo. If Kikyo were to reject him he would go back to Kagome and accept her feelings, perhaps his love for her would come later on then. But now he needed to see Kikyo, the henyo looked around desperately in the forest. It seemed like hours but then saw a slight glow of a soul collector.

‘Kikyo!’ He thought and had a slight smile on his face.

Inu Yasha followed the glow and found Kikyo standing by a tree looking up at it. He stood there in awe, she looked as beautiful as ever. He took a step closer not rustling a thing.

“What is your business here Inu Yasha?” the miko said in a monotone still looking up at the tree.

Inu Yasha jumped a bit at the sudden response of Kikyo. “Kikyo, I have come here to talk. I…” He started but was cut off.

Kikyo looked coldly at him “What is there to say about us?” She asked

Inu Yasha took a step closer “Kikyo, there is something, something I need to say.” He took another step.
Kikyo pulled out an arrow and notched it in her bow “You are a liar Inu Yasha. Take another step closer and you are dead.” She said bitterly

“Kikyo please, I” He said taking another step closer to her ignoring her threat.

Kikyo pulled back the arrow “Inu Yasha I’m warning you.” She said cautiously

Inu Yasha took another step he was now five feet away from her. His eyes were full of sadness. “Please Kikyo give me a chance.”

Kikyo slowly loosened the arrow on the bow and dropped its position to a less aggressive point but it was still armed. “I told you already Inu Yasha there…”

Inu Yasha ran up and knocked the bow, arrow out of her hand and pulled her into and embrace. “Kikyo, I love you. I would never hurt you, so please, please.”

The undead miko’s eyes widened with surprise with the henyo’s words.

“Please,” he continued “Come back to me, we can hunt the jewel shards together. Please Kikyo I love you. You don’t have to love me back but just come back to me. Like the way things were.”

Kikyo slowly returned his hug and rested her head on his chest. She felt something watering in her eyes, and she blinked as the tears came out. ‘Tears?’ She thought quizingly. Something then came over the miko she felt suddenly, whole. She looked up at Inu Yasha “Inu Yasha I,” she paused “I love you too.”

Inu Yasha looked at her in surprise, “You will come with me then?”

Kikyo leaned up and gave him a short kiss. “Yes,” she replied simpily.

Inu Yasha smiled and pressed her against the tree. He kissed her hard and forced his tongue into her mouth. He felt her hands grip his robe and pressed them closer together. Inu Yasha started to undo her wrap around shirt and she did the same to him. After he took her shirt off he started to feel her breasts and rubbed her right nipple between his index finger and thumb causing Kikyo to moan in pleasure. He could feel his member going hard and he could also smell Kikyo’s arousal. He let go of her nipple and slipped his hand into her hakama pants and felt her mound. She was already wet. Inu Yasha broke the kiss and moved her to the ground. He resumed kissing her and started to undo her pants. They came off with ease, Inu yasha smiled he broke off the kiss again and started to kiss down her neck and started teasing her other nipple. Kikyo moaned out his name and he continued down ward. He licked her navel and nibbled around on her thigh near her midnight black curls. He spread her legs apart and lightly flicked her lips causing Kikyo to jump a bit. He smiled again and slowly stuck his tongue into her womanhood tasting her fluids that poured out. Inu Yasha could feel his member completely erect now and throbbing, but he wanted to wait a little more. After he felt satisfied he came back up and resumed suckling her breast. Inu Yasha slipped two fingers in to her woman hood and began feeling her. Kikyo moaned more.

“Inu Yasha..” she said softly as he continued to move his fingers in and out.

Pretty soon Inu Yasha couldn’t hold it in any longer he drew out his fingers and came up to kiss her. Kikyo was ready too and started to undo his pants, Inu Yasha helped her get them off to reveal his throbbing man hood. Kikyo pulled him back down to her and he positioned himself at her opening. Inu yasha took a deep breath and forced himself into her. Kikyo cried out in pleasure and slight pain as dug her hands gently into his back. He was rather large being a half demon and all. Inu yasha slowly began moving in and out of her and then gained speed. He could feel himself coming fast but tried to hold on until Kikyo was satisfied. Kikyo moaned and encouraged him to go on. Inu yasha leaned down and kissed her still pumping in and out of her quickly. Making thumping sounds as his member moved in and out. Kikyo could feel her peak coming she cried out Inu yasha’s name as he released his seed deeply in her. Inu Yasha pulled himself out and fell onto her chest both of them sweaty.

“I love you,” He said slightly panting

“I love you too.” She replied out of breath and petted his hair.

‘Where is he?!’ Kagome wondered angrily. ‘I mean how far could he have gone?’ Kagome asked herself as she continued her journey in the night forest. She then heard something, like two people talking. Kagome followed it. She stopped midway, something told her not to go and see who it was. Kagome swallowed her fears and forced herself to move on. She walked a while and saw what she didn’t want to see.
Kikyo moaned as Inu Yasha moved in and out of her, both of them where naked making love on the ground. Kagome turned around tearfully.

‘Why!!?’ She thought. ‘Why Inu Yasha?! Kagome was filled with rage. Not a Kikyo, oh no but at Inu Yasha for doing this to her. He had shown signs of likening her back and if he didn’t he should have told her.
Kagome ran and ran, far away from the sight. She stopped after she was out of breath and slumped against a tree. She slid down and pulled her legs to her chest. Kagome buried her head in her arms and cried. The brown-eyed girl cried silently for who knows how long. She stopped; she felt a small black flame with in her start. It was an odd sensation, all her rage, her sorrow, her confusion; all gone and she felt one emotion that was eerie but calming in a way. Revenge, that was all she could hear in her head. Revenge. She knew what to do; she got up and started walking back to camp.


When Kagome came back to camp she saw that every one was asleep, excluding Inu Yasha. Kagome smiled and looked at her friends one last time. Kagome picked up her bag of all of her things including the jewel shards and headed out into the night.
Kagome had made up her mind; she was going to search for the shards on her own. She could do it, she knew she could. Kagome looked into her bag it contained her large handled hair brush, shampoo, soap, clothing, a few books for homework, and some other ordinary objects. The one thing she was lacking was food, ‘well its not that bad I’ll just go home and pick up some then come back.’ Kagome headed for the well.

“Kanna come here.” An icy cold voice that belonged to the demon named Naraku.

Kanna came obediently “yes my lord?” she asked her master

“Hold up your mirror, I wish to see what my enemies are doing.” Naraku barked the order at her.

Kanna nodded and showed him the scene of Sango, Miroku, and Shippo sleeping. No Kagome or Inu Yasha. Naraku grinned slyly; he knew what was happening. “Show me Kagome.” He ordered and Kanna obeyed. He saw Kagome approaching the direction of the well alone. He smiled, perfect he had been waiting for this opportunity, the girl looked so much like Kikyo and it would be a good way to get back at the henyo. He dismissed Kanna and left to claim what he wanted.

‘There it is.’ Kagome thought as she slowly approached the well. She went over in her head the things she needed to get. ‘I can’t stay long but I can tell my family that I won’t be coming back for a while.’

Kagome went to the edge of the well and slung one leg around it.

“Why hello there little miko.” And cold voice said

Kagome whirled around but blacked out before she could see anything.
