Summary: Just Kiara's thoughts of someone who she's in love with.

The night is quiet with just the slight breeze and I'm laying next to my mistress Sango. Everyone's asleep with the execption of myself and the Hanyou InuYasha.

My Love.

It may seem ridiculous and disgusting, but it's not unheard of. His father was a full dog demon, granted he wasn't a real dog unless he transformed, but none the less it was okay. If I transform we could be together and maybe even have a litter.

I yawn and it made me come out of my daydream and I glance at the branch where my silver haired King was. He sat with his back against the bark and his beautiful golden eyes stared at the clear sky. His face bore no emotion, but his large eyes held pools longing, regret and intimate lonliness.

I knew how that feels, not being able to get a mate to stay with you for what you are. Kikiyo wanted InuYasha to be a full human and I get the impression that Kagome wants the same. She never seems satisfied with anything he does or says.

Simply she annoys me to no end at times. Kagome may have amazing spiritual energy, but she's too clingy and mentally weak. Insecure to the max.

Now Sango is way more confident, but it's obvious with Miroku's constant flirting that of course she's bound to be a little insecure herself. But she uses that to beat him.

Now my thoughts are drifting.

"Kiara can't you sleep?" The Hanyou asked.

I know my eyes are five times their size as I realize he was down off the branch and in front of me. All I could do is nod and he sat on the ground.

"Well come over." He said and patted his lap.

I bounce over and snuggled onto his warm lap. I'm in heaven! My eyes sparkle and hearts dance around my head as he pets me. His strong hands and slender fingers trail from my head to my tails.

I purr as he occasionally scratched under my chin and my forehead. His touches are bliss and I wish he could realize how I feel.

Please know how much I love you! How much I cherish your caressess, your sensuous voice and your outstanding strength!

"Kiara sometimes I feel like you're the only one that I can talk to."

My ears perk up and I lick his lips. My first kiss...well with InuYasha.

"Aww. Kiara has a crush."

My mistress is awake! She witnessed our kiss!

"What?" I hear InuYasha ask.

"I do believe Kiara has her eyes on you." Sango said and InuYasha looked at me.

"Kiara...is that so?"

I just look at him, mortified beyond all belief.

"Well you're pretty cure yourself." He said.

My heart leaps and I hugged him...kind of. He said I'm cute! Oh sweet birds sing your songs of love that is bursting from my heart!

"Umm...Kirara I think you should let InuYasha go." Sango said.

I look up to see my Hanyou looking rather...perplexed. I release him and he had a blush.

"Get some sleep Kiara." Sango said and I follow her.

InuYasha jumps back onto his branch and before he turned away he smiles and gives me a wink.

I melted and curl up. Oh sweet love! My thoughts become unfocaused as I drift off.
