Please don’t be so hard on me with this story . . . Cau’ze I thought long and hard about WTH I should write. Then it shook me, there is not many stories with the leader of the Shichinintais, Bankotsu. So why not write one with him? But with who? Heh… Guess. I thought about it for a moment and I have NEVER- EVER seen one with him and Ayame. So. I thought, if no one writes one, I do! So here you are folks^^

Prologue:
She looked up from the stream. Wet eyed for crying so much. It had been ten years now. Ten long years to wait for him. She wasn’t quite aware of why. He had been dead for so long now. She still remembered his death day. She had a fight with him. She didn’t want him to leave. But he was hot-headed, just like herself. He said that he would take that task no matter what. Then they could look on their relationship afterwards. And unfunality for her his comrades had supported him with that. Man, she was angry and had stomped a way with no other word. She regretted that now. Anyways it turned out that she was right. He shouldn’t have taken this task. The task that costed him his life. But she didn’t felt any kind of victory. No, only sadness. She didn’t got to say goodbye. When she found him she could have killed herself. But her pack helped her to get over it. Or almost. She still sat in the evening remembering him. Sometimes crying herself to sleep.
She’d lived in the mountains ever since along with her pack. But the memory of him and how much she loved him, longed to be with him was crushing. The time were she was ready to take her life she had thought something. ”Why end your life just like that? It won’t bring him back.” She cried a bit at her own words. It was true. Nothing could bring him back. She chose to get over guts and life her live like normalise. But to say the truth she didn’t felt like being normal at all. She was a Youkai after all. A strong Ookami female. So why feel love? And then for a mortal. A human. A killer. Real Youkais shouldn’t feel that. Not the animal ones. They just claimed what they want. It was like their only rules were; See, take, claim and keep!
She sighed not knowing what to do. She knew he wouldn’t come back. But she couldn’t forget him. He was a piece of her. He had told her he loved her, but she wasn’t sure it was true. Not that he believed he was a liar. But he always said so much. Anyways. He was so handsome, funny and lovely. Even for being a killer, a so young one. Yea. A so young one. Her eyes saddened. He died too early. Only 17 years old. Why? Why did it have to be like this? Why did he leave her? Why did they take him from her? She didn’t know. But she knew one thing. Bankotsu would always be in her heart.
