“That’s it Miroku!” A slender girl with long brown hair threw herself out of the door of a large house. A man with a short ponytail and gold earrings followed her out, buttoning up a purple shirt, his hair mussed, “Sango!”. She ignored him and angrily tore open the car door. Just as she was about to slam the door shut, he reached out and grabbed it.
“Sango wait!” He panted at her
“Wait for what?” She yelled at him, “Wait for what Miroku? For you to lay around with another girl again?”
“But Sango-“
“No buts Miroku, I’ve had enough.” Sango shook her head
“Sango, I promise that I’ll always be there for you! You know it!” Miroku argued, desperate to stop her from leaving.
Sango laughed tearfully, “Really Miroku? See the lies never stop.” She laughed, tears rolling down her face.
“What are you talking about?” Miroku looked at her confused
“Remember Kohaku’s funeral?” A look of recognition flew across Miroku’s face and he paled, “Yeah, you promised that you would be there because you knew how upset I was about it and you never came!”
“I was busy-“
“Busy my ass Miroku! You were busy screwing your secretary!” she yelled at him
‘That was only once!” Miroku pleaded with her
“Only once? What about my promotion dinner? What about my birthday party? What about my company’s gala? What about-“ She stopped then shook her head, “Why do I even bother? It’s OVER Miroku. I’m done crying over you.” Sango wiped her eyes and floored the accelerator.
“I’m not Sango.” Miroku said to himself, a tear running down his cheek as he watched the love of his life drive away.
