Demon School

I do not own Inuyasha *cries*, and I am writing this for the sole purpose of enjoyment =)

In the midst of my junk/documents, I found the beginning of a story, which I failed to continue. Because this happened when I am most busy, it will take a while for me to update, so please be patient =)

Chapter 1

Noise, smoke, and chaos filled the entire hallway. Kagome shut her eyes, wondering when the pandemonium would end. As soon as she did so, memories of her former life flooded into her mind, making her life worse than it already was.

-Flashback-

‘Oh my god, Kagome-chan! You aced every single test! How is that physically possible?!’, Eri exclaimed in her ear. The mid-term results had come out, and the whole school was talking about Kagome’s amazing scores. ‘Eri, it only takes time, concentration, and hard work to do well! Everyone is capable of doing it. It’s just that I had my party right before the exams, which, I have to say, was a fault on my part’.

‘ONLY time, concentration, and hard work?!? Girl, that takes up WAY too much energy. And by the way, do NOT regret having your party, it was a great way to relax, especially BECAUSE the mid-terms were coming up. It totally kicked ass… Did you see the way Hojo was looking at you? I swear to god, he looked like he was going to…’.

Kagome gave her friend a quick nudge as a brown-haired guy walked towards them. ‘Hey, Kagome! I heard about your mid-term scores! That’s great! Congratulations!’, he said, cracking one of his charming smiles. Kagome blushed madly and was about to reply when something went wrong.

She froze in place, her eyes widening as a sickening feeling rose in her stomach. ‘Um… Kagome? Are you ok…’. The black-haired girl screamed in pain as she felt pain erupt from every part of her body. She could feel her skin being stretched as she grew taller, her ears were changing shapes and forming pointy tips, her nails and teeth growing uncontrollably, and her eyes, changing from brown to green.

People backed away from her, most running away to notify a teacher. She gave the surrounding one last glance before passing out into darkness.

When she awoke, Kagome could feel someone dabbing her forehead with a soft, wet towel. She could hear someone whispering words of comfort by her side, making her feel better. Kagome relaxed and tried to remember what had happened.

‘Kagome… I would advise to not think of that yet. I need to tell you a few things right now though. It may not make sense now, but they will eventually. Everyone’s memory has been erased, and we’re on our own now, which means that the times will be a bit harder to get through. I have also transferred you to a new school, where you will be able to start over again. I’m sorry for all this, but it was my only choice. Sleep now, and think more about this when you wake up’.

-End of Flashback-

Everything that Kagome’s mother had told her was true. No one remembered Kagome, not even her new step-father. Left with almost nothing, Kagome’s mother had moved them to a remote island, hoping to start a new life.

Indeed, it was a new life; a complete opposite of what Kagome was used to. From a huge mansion, to a tiny apartment, from the best high school in Japan, to some unknown school for students with special needs. How much worse could it get?

Her first day at school, needless to say, was worse than hell. Every guy that she walked passed either tried to hit on her, or just went straight to groping her. There was smoke everywhere, and the sounds of fighting echoed through the hall. When she took her math exam and got a perfect score, the teacher had accused her of cheating and wrote a note for her to see the new principal at the end of the day.


The new principal. Some rumors said that he was a huge, hideously fat man, who would literally talk you to death. Either that, or the image of him would scar your mind forever. Although many people went in to see him, they never seemed to remember what he looked like, just that he had his chair turned around, and managed to say something that would cause them to stop whatever they did wrong.

Other then that, he didn’t seem too concerned that the school was being trashed and was total chaos. Just thinking about what he might be like, considering the state that the school was in, sent shivers down her body. Not wanting to be late, she slowly trudged to the principal’s office, her thoughts never leaving the rumors.


An elegant white haired man sat in his chair, flipping through the pages of Kagome’s school records. She was a straight A student who had a perfect attendance record, the complete opposite of the students that came to his school of ‘special youths’. He remembered meeting her mother a few days ago, who explained what had happened, but little did she know, that everyone there, was a demon.

There was a soft knock on the door, which interrupted his train of thought. ‘Come in…’, he called out. He could hear the door open softly, followed by quiet footsteps. ‘Um… My name is Kagome Higurashi, and I got a note from Mr. Onigumo telling me to come here…’.

Upon hearing her name, Sesshomaru turned around and looked at the girl that stood in front of him. He saw her eyes widen as she gasped in surprised. He himself was quite surprised by her appearance. What he expected was a short, nerdy girl, but instead, he saw a tall beautiful black-haired girl.

He had long, white hair, a beautiful facial structure, and amazing golden eyes. Kagome couldn’t believe that he was the principal and was so stunned that she didn’t hear him tell her to sit down.

Sesshomaru cleared his throat and tried again, ‘Higurashi. Please sit down’. Snapping out of her daze, she blushed and quickly did as she was told. She placed the note on the table in front of the gorgeous man, and stared at her hands, trying to avoid all awkwardness.

‘… cheating in class…’, he read to himself. Looking up from the note, he saw that Kagome was staring at her hands, still blushing. ‘So, apparently, you were cheating in class… After reading your school records, I have come to 2 conclusions, one, that you really are smart, or two, you’ve always been cheating, and this is your first time getting caught…’.

Kagome clenched her fists and thought, ‘How am I supposed to respond to that?’. ‘You’re supposed to respond to that by saying which one’, Sesshomaru replied. Seeing her surprised look, he said, ‘And yes, I can read others’ mind, just like your mother can’.

He let the news sink in before continuing. ‘I know about your demon secret, because this entire school consists of only demons. The former principal left this place in quite a mess, and now I have to clean this up. One by one, I will have to go through the students, erasing memories and thoughts, then replacing them’.

‘I know that you did not cheat, but I would advise you to keep your marks a bit off with Mr. Onigumo. Another thing, I hope that you learn to defend yourself, because you will need it. This isn’t like the school you were at before, so you will not have anyone to run and cry to. Other then that, you are dismissed’. With that said, he turned his chair around and went back to reading student records.

Still dazed by what she heard, Kagome stood up and walked to the door. Just as she reached out to open the door, it burst open, slamming Kagome into the wall and knocking her out. Sesshomaru walked over to her and picked the girl unconscious girl up.

‘Inuyasha… Stay right there, fool, I will deal with you later’, he said, glaring at the other white-haired boy. ‘Feh… Stupid egotistical bastard…’, was his reply. Sesshomaru walked out the door, locking it behind him. ‘Kagura… Take this girl to the nurse, make sure that she is healed properly’, the principal said to his secretary.

‘Yes Sesshomaru, anything you want…’, Kagura replied sweetly. As soon as he left, Kagura got up and looked for the nurse. She needed to everything she could to get to Sesshomaru’s good side, anything and everything.

~In the Office~

Inuyasha opened the folder on Sesshomaru’s desk and began to read its contents. According to the file, the girl’s name was Kagome Higurashi, she had perfect grades, as well as a perfect attendance record. He also found the note that Mr. Onigumo had written.

‘That must be the girl that I knocked out… Screw her… No wait… Perfect grades, huh… If I can find a way to get her to let copy off of her, I would get better grades… God, Kikyo would be all over me’, he thought to himself. Just thinking about Kikyo made his member twitch and begin to swell up.

Sesshomaru slammed the door open, catching Inuyasha at his desk, still hovering over Kagome’s records. With demonic speed, he shut the door and was gripping the weakling’s neck seconds later, his eyes starting to bleed red. ‘You… Are toeing the line, you disgrace… I had to leave my company and manage this dump because father doesn’t trust that you can stay out of trouble. If I have to deal with you one more time, and if your grades don’t go up, I will kill you, you son of bitch…’.

There was a sudden knock at the door, which broke Sesshomaru’s train of thoughts. Furious, he tossed Inuyasha into a chair and went to answer the door. Thinking that it was Kagura, he wrenched the door open, and said in enraged voice, ‘You know damn well not to…’.

He stopped, seeing that it was Kagome, who was now looking quite frightened. ‘I’m sorry for interrupting, I didn’t know…’, she whispered before running away. Sesshomaru could only stare at where she once stood, not knowing what to do or say.

From inside, Inuyasha clapped and shouted, ‘BRAVO! Great way to scare your one and only good student! We should all learn from your great…’. That was as far as he got before becoming unconscious.


‘Kagura, I am leaving now. Call a taxi and make sure that the student in my office gets taken home. He has had a few problems, and will require some assistance getting home. Once you finish that, lock up the school and you may leave’, he instructed. Without waiting for a reply, he walked out the door, trying to forget everything except his heavenly hot tub that was waiting for him at home.
