school sucks
*disclaimer* none of the characters are mine^^thay all belong to the creative creator of Inuyasha...rumiko takahishi (or however you spell it) if i owned it, Kagome would never exist
Inuyasha ran a hand through his silver hair and sighed. He totally wasn't ready for the first day of school. He had gotten lazy over the summer and had just cruised the whole entire time. He lugged his heavy bag and plunked it on the large desk that sat in front of the large classroom. He fell into the swivel chair and groaned. He was never going to get used to getting up at 5 am in the morning. Yawning and ruffling his long hair, he reached for the coffee that his girlfriend Kagome had given him. He smiled, thinking of their eventful night. No wonder he hadn't gotten any sleep.
He blinked and tiredly extracted the large textbooks from his leather book bag. Inuyasha raised the coffee thermos to his lips and yelped as the hot liquid scalded his tongue. He swore and shoved the thermos back on the desk and hurtled out of the classroom. He made a beeline for the water fountain and stuck his tongue in the cold water. He looked up and noticed the old nurse Kaede staring at him with one eyebrow raised. He gave her a thumbs up with his tongue still under the cold running water. Kaede just shook her head and hobbled to the health office.
Grimacing at the rough feeling the coffee had left on his tongue, Inuyasha walked back to the classroom. He continued his unpacking, occasionally probing his tongue with his index finger and grimacing. He gave the thermos a death glare and set his laptop on the desk. Inuyasha made a pained face when a ruckus sounded out in the halls. The white triangular ears twitched as they heard the loud noises of the high schoolers.
"bunch of animals." Inuyasha grumbled as he clapped his clawed hands over the hat that he wore over his sensitive ears. The irony of this hit him, he was half animal after all. Well, the students didn't know that though. He just pretended like he had dyed his hair and he always kept a hat on. His bastard brother was working on procuring glamour bracelets. They would hide his appearance. As much as Sesshomaru hated Inuyasha, he still did this knowing that they were one of the only remaining demons in the world.
Inuyash's smirk fell. What would everyone do when they found out what he was? Even Kagome didn't know. Sesshomaru had forbade him to make his true self known. So Inuyasha had to put up a sutra when Kagome and him had had a little funfest so that she couldn't see his true form. Inuyasha sighed and sat back. Man, did his life suck. Sure, he had Kagome but he also had the misfortune of having a bastard for a brother and having a cursed lineage.
Inuyasha's reverie was cut short by the jostling students that tried to force their way through the door. He inwardly sighed, here we go.
