A/N: please excuse my early suckyness i had a good idea and my muse failed to convey it. i have changed some things in chaper one. two will be up shortly and three will be deleated and totaly redone. im sorry for the delay but i had a problem... not enough time to do what i really wanted write my damn story. any way enjoy the small changes and hope it is better then before.

Kagome sat under the dark night sky silently crying to the stars of her betrayal. “Why did you do this to me” she sobbed out to no one in particular.

Now I’m gonna have to find a way
A way to put the bottle down
And why can't you see
That I'm drowning in a pool of misery

She had always known deep in her heart that he would do this to her. Kagome would watch as her best friend would leave in the dark of night and not return until the morning hours had returned. She knew where and whom he meets with but continued to live in denial, hoping that her assumptions were wrong.

Unfortunately for her she wasn’t. She followed her love into the forest covering her scent as she went using her developing miko powers. She stopped when she heard their voices. Not getting close enough to see but hear the exchange of words.
“Inuyasha, you have come again my love” the silky voice came out. “Yes, I have come to finally take you as my life mate” the half demon whispered with lust in his voice. “What of the girl who travels with you, don’t you want her too?” the voice sounded hurt. “My love I only want her for one thing finding the jewel shards, now please allow your love to show you how much he cares for you” inuyasha cooed. “I want you to say it” the voice demanded. “I love you, Kikyou” he said as he captured her lips in a heated kiss.
Kagome could take no more as the sounds of love making began. She ran back to the place where it all began and crumpled under the god tree.

She cried long and hard as her heart broke into a million pieces. Her miko aura flashed violently as she felt her very soul breaking into two, dark and light…

The lord of the west felt a great disturbance was about to occur in the direction of his hated half brothers forest. He had an omen that a power was going to rise. Thinking about what it could be he came to no conclusions. So what could cause such a feeling in him? The feeling did not ebb one bit as he sat at his oak desk. It nagged at him to follow it to see the force that was to be made known. His inner beast was annoyed he could feel it.

Quickly he sprung from the window and dashed to the lands he never wanted to enter again. When he arrived at the old well his scenes picked up only the young miko that traveled with his brother. Salt water his nose, she was crying. Silently he crept to the shadows not wanting his presence to be known.

He watched in curiosity as she uttered those words “Why did you do this to me” to the night sky. Her sobs only increased the aura began to change. He watched as it changed from dark to light not one dominating the other. Until it decided to spiral together and from a fusion of both the forces. She looked into his direction…

“Take me away from here, please Sesshomaru” She looked at him with those sad eyes. His beast took pity on the girl and urged the lord to do it. ‘No, we will not fall into our fathers ways’ he said to it. ‘Think of it as a way to get a new teacher for Rin, she needs some one to teach her the way to become a lady’ the beast said. ‘You are smarter then you put on’ he confirmed.

The lord who hated humans came out of the shadows and looked at the miko. “This Sesshomaru will take you to teach his ward Rin to become a proper lady” Sesshomaru said. “Any thing to get away from here” she sobbed out.

Swiftly he picked the crying girl up and began the journey to his castle. He kept his face passive yet he wondered what had made the energetic miko to loose her spirit and fire…’that idiot brother of ours most likely’ his beast said in the recesses of his mind.

Now I sit here by myself

Kagome fell asleep in the arms of the brother who she had always feared. The one who tried to kill her all the time because she was a human. But some how she felt safe in the ice lords tight embrace.
