chapter 1
Note to readers:
Its been 2 years since naraku was defeated and the well sealed up but Kagome got stuck in the feudal era with inuyasha and the others. Sango and miroku got married 3 months after naraku was defeated and have a son named Satomi. Kagome and inuyasha have mated now and inuyasha accepts shippo as his own. Kikyou also went back to hell.Well I might as well get on with the story :)

It was a sunny day great for hanging around outside. Sango and kaede were in another village assisting in a birth and miroku and Satomi were sleeping.
Inuyasha sat up in the God tree watching Kagome play tag with shippo.
'i wonder what she would be like with our pups' thought inuyasha
Over the last couple of days inuyasha has noticed a change in Kagome scent. The scent change was that she was pregnant. He was debating on when to tell her. He didn't know if she was ready to take on such a responsibility and he also didn't know if she wanted any pups right now. Inuyasha was so lost in thought he didn't notice that Kagome was standing at the bottom of the tree talking to him.
''inuyasha did u hear me'' Kagome asked
"huh oh sorry Kagome i was thinking about something"
"what were u thinking about inuyasha"
"oh nothing Kagome"
"OK now come down and go get some meat for dinner OK"
"OK Kagome"
Inuyasha jumped down from the tree and went into the woods to find some meat. When shippo couldn't smell inuyasha anymore he walked up to Kagome to ask her a question.
"Kagome"shippo said innocently
"yes shippo"
"can you and inuyasha make me a little brother or sister I'm not picky"shippo said innocently
When Kagome heard shippo her face had a look of shock on it. She also started to blush badly.
"shippo did inuyasha ask you to ask me that"Kagome asked questioningly
Kagome knew inuyasha wanted pups but she didn't know if she was ready for pups. Inuyasha knew Kagome couldn't say no to shippo.
"no he didn't ask me to ask you i really want a brother or sister to play with please Kagome can u guys make me one"
Kagome still couldn't believe shippo would ask something like that but she let it go.
"shippo I'll see what i can do"
"thanks Kagome"
MEANWHILE
Inuyasha had managed to kill a deer and was cleaning it. Sesshomaru was looking for inuyasha since he hadn't beaten up on inuyasha for a while. Sesshomaru smelled inuyasha scent so he followed it and found him cleaning some meat he had so sesshomaru snuck up on him.
"Inuyasha what are you doing here'' sesshomaru asked
Inuyasha was so busy cleaning the meat and thinking about how to tell Kagome she was pregnant he didn't hear or smell sesshomaru coming up behind him. Inuyasha jumped when sesshomaru asked him what he was doing.
"I'm getting food for my mate"
when sesshomaru heard him say he had a mate he got a look of shock on his face.
'how could he have a mate before me' sesshomaru thought
"your mate who's your mate" sesshomaru asked with surprise in his voice
"why should i tell you sesshomaru"
"you were probably lying anyway because who would want a half breed like you anyway"
"Kagome would she loves me and i love her so leave us alone"inuyasha said with anger in his voice
"so that human girl is your mate that means your pups will be half breeds"
"so what"
"well i don't want any more half breeds in our family"
"so what if we do have pups that are half breeds"
"I'll kill em"
"what do you mean your gonna kill them sesshomaru they didn't do anything to you"
"like i said i don't want anymore embarrassments in this family"
"you lay one hand on Kagome or my pups and i will tear you limb from limb"
Sesshomaru didn't say anything he vanished like he always did. Inuyasha was worried now for the sake of his Kagome and his pups. Inuyasha left the deer and rushed back to Kagome because she didn't know it yet but she was pregnant and if sesshomaru found out he would kill Kagome and the pup.
"hey inuyasha where is the meat" Kagome said when she saw him
inuyasha was all flushed and sweaty and Kagome looked at him worried
"what's wrong inuyasha"Kagome asked
"Kagome forget about the meat i need to talk to you in private"inuyasha said
"OK hey shippo go play with aunt sango OK"
"OK Kagome"shippo said
"OK come on Kagome"
Kagome followed inuyasha until they were is his forest by this beautiful river.
"now what's wrong inuyasha"Kagome asked worried
Inuyasha sniffed the air to see if sesshomaru was there. But he was no where around so he continued to talk to Kagome.
"OK Kagome well the last time we mated you got pregnant"
"what I'm pregnant"Kagome said surprised
"yea Kagome your pregnant"
"then why are you so worried inuyasha"
"well Kagome sesshomaru said since we are mated are pups will be half demon and half human like me"
"what's wrong with that" Kagome said questioningly
"well Kagome sesshomaru said he don't want anymore embarrassments in the family so he said if you got pregnant he was gonna kill you and the pup"
Kagome's eyes went wide with fear and shock
"he wouldn't really kill me and the pup would he inuyasha"Kagome asked
"yes he would Kagome so that's why i need you to stay with me or sango at all times OK"
"OK inuyasha i will stay with someone at all times"Kagome said
"Thanks for understanding Kagome"
"no problem"kaogme said
kagome walked over to inuyasha aand kissed him on the cheek.
"i'm just glad we are gonna have a baby together"kagome said
"me to kagome
Inuyasha smiled and kissed kagome on the forhead.
