Rin's Wish

Now before the story goes..I don't own any of the characters Im just using them and creating what my psychotic nutty muse tells me to do. So don't sue me please! So anyways..enjoy the story!

"It's over finally all over" Inuyasha said softly turning from the battle field. The evil Naraku had finally fell after five long years of hunting and battling with him and against his spawn. Closing his golden eyes Inuyasha breathed a deep sigh glancing towards the others that had helped destroy the evil monster.

The hentai priest Miroku who had been cursed with a wind tunnel in his hand no longer had the deadly curse. The demon slayer Sango stood near him holding her massive bone boomerange. Inuyasha saw them both but two were missing. Kagome and the fox yoaki pup Shippo.

"Sango where's Kagome and Shippo?" Inuyasha asked puzzled.

Sango turned around seeing Shippo na pra prone figure shaking like the person's arm crying. Sango's brown eyes opened wide as she dropped her boomerang racing towards the two. When she got closer she recognized the figure on the ground it was Kagome.

"Oh god what happened" Sango said dropping to her knee's seeing the blood that stained Kagome's shirt and green skirt a sickly off crimson shade. Sango reached out then stopped short seeing the feathered shaft of an arrow putruding from the miko's side. "Who's arrow is that shippo?" She looked at the kit's striken face.

Shippo's small frame was shaking with the si tea tears that ran down his cheeks like tiny salt rivers. "Kikyo shot her when she finished purifying the jewel."

Inuyasha had just skidded to a hault near the and and he heard the kit's words his face went blank as he turned catching the scent of dirt and bones. Kikyo was there holding the glowing jewel a smile playing over her features. Heul sul stealers floating around her body.

"Inuyasha the jewel is complete now you can keep your promise to me and come to hell" Kikyo said still smiling the same dead smile her soulless body could muster.

The wind picked up as Inuyasha's silvery hair blew into his face a low rumbling growl rolled through his vocal cords as he looked up staring at the undead priestess. His eyes were blood red with teal pupils light purple straks were slashed across his cheeks. Onawedawed hand lifted as talons were flexed causing joint to pop.

Kikyo stared at Inuyasha. "What are you doing Inuyasha I thought you loved me. Don't you want to come to hell with me? You promised Inuyasha" She didn't seem to be afraid of him.

Growling Inuyasha stepped forward the growl spilling past his lips now as he lunged towards Kikyo a howl of rage booming. Kikyo lifted one hand as she tried to stop the blow but fell backwards as Inuyasha's claws tore through her body causing the soul stealers to vanish as her body crumbled back to dirt and bone fragments.

Turning Inuyasha slowly went back to Kagome and then others kneeling he picked up the miko sniffing her neck. He could not smell life but only a cold death. The rider on the pale horse had came and stole his Kagome away from him. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Inuyasha howled once more this time the cry was filled with anguish and heartbreak.

"Mama" Shippo stammered staring at his adopted mother's limp from hanging in Inuyasha's arms. "No" He turned then leaping into Sango's grasp hiding his face the tears flowing more freely.

Sango cradled the sobbing Kitsune looking at Kagome's form with complete shock. She had lost her brother again when he had removed the a fragment of the jewel shard from his own back to aid them all in the battle and now she had also lost the one she called sister. Seeing Sango's distress Miroku came over wrapping his arms around her for the first time he was not trying to grope her backside just offering her comfort.

Near the edge of the forest three silent forms stood watching. One was none other then Sesshomaru Lord of the Western land and also Inuyasha's older brother. at his side his young ward Rin and near her the green toad jakken Sesshomaru's faithful retainer.

Ha see seen enough the silent Yoaki lord turned walking back into the forest. He knew Inuyasha's Miko wench was dead as well as Kikyo and Naraku there was nothing more for him to see so he was ready to return to his own lands. "Come Rin" He spoke his voice cold and emotionless

Rin turned looking to her lord not understanding why the girl Kagome was not moving or the one's she traveled with were crying and seemed so sad and distraught.

"Sesshomaru-san why isn't kagome moving?" It was a question asked from a child's simple innocent nature.

Turning the yoaki looked at his ward before speaking. "She's dead Rin" It was said as simple as that. "She is mortal she was bound to die someday"

Rin just stood there almost like she was in shock. "Will rin die too?"

This question stopped Sesshomaru dead in his tracks. He knew Rin would die someday but he didn't want to think about such thing. "That is not a proper question for a child to ask Rin"

Planting her feet against the ground she stood like a stubborn mule refusing to take one more step. "Please Sesshomaru-san answer Rin's question" Her voice was filled with worry and borderlined on tears.

Sighing he turned to look at his young ward. "Yes Rin some day you too will pass into the next life"

Rin's eyes widened and she shook her head whispering softly. "Rin wish's she could be like Lord Sesshomaru-san and that Kagome never died" She trailed off quietly.

A sudden glow surrounded the young girl as she fell to the ground with a cry of surprise. Inside her small body the shikon jewel had traveled in kikyo's re-death. The jewel had heard the wish that came from the heart and was made on a pure soul the jewel was granting Rin's wish.

On the field Kagome let out a gasping cough as she started to suck in air once more. Her eyes opened as she found Inuyasha staring down at her in shock and total surprise.

"What happened" Kagome whispered confused. Inuyasha rached down brushing his fingers against her cheek. "You died but how did you come back?" He looked around seeing Rin bathed in pink light and Sesshomaru racing towards the girl his eyes bleeding red. He had felt the power and saw rin on the ground the light surrounding her.

When the light faded Sesshomaru saw someone laying on the ground covered by a black blanket of some sort. Reaching out he pulled it away gasping shock flaring in his eyes. The blanket was a tail and it belonged to a female Inuyoaki that lay where rin had been.

The female Inuyoaki had silky snowy skin. Soft purple markings adorned her writss while light blue one's went across her cheeks. In the middle of her forehead a golden cresent moon hung. Turning her head up she gazed at the yoaki lord whispering softly. "Sesshomaru-san it's me Rin...."


And there is where I must leave the story hanging for now. If there are typo's don't hurt me. And if name's are not spelled right Sorry*hides* It took me three hours to write this on paper and another hour to type it up. So only one chapter for now. If this story gets some reviews I will definately be adding more and quickly. If not then it may only be a one shot deal.
