Inuyasha Vs. All
Chapter 1
Inuyasha sat in a tree by the ancient well waiting for Kagome so he could tell her goodbye. It was not like Inuyasha to acknowledge that Kagome was going, but lately he’s had a strange feeling that she was in danger. Kagome was packing her bag at Kaede’s while handing out her leftover noodles to Miroku, Sango and Shippo. Kagome was ready to see her family again plus she had tests to do at school. She had never gotten Inuyasha to understand the concept of why she needed to go to school.

She thought he might be angry with her for leaving. Kagome pushed the thought of a mad Inuyasha out of her mind and hoisted her bag onto her bike. She thanked Kaede for letting her stay once again, and said goodbye to Sango, Miroku and Shippo. She went to her bike and got on but just as she started to peddle, Shippo jumped onto the front of her bike and clung to the hanars.ars. “PLEASE TAKE ME!!!” Shippo cried. “I don’t wana stay with Inuyasha again! He’s mean to me.” "Shippo", Kagome said in a sympathetic tone. "I won't let you go!!" Shippo yelled back before Kagome could say another word.

"I won't be gone for long, just a week or so." Said Kagome. "A WEEK!!!!!" Shippo exclaimed. "I can't wait that long." He added. Kagome scratched behind Shippo's ears. “Just don’t get in the way of one of Inuyasha‘s temper fits. I’ll bring you something extra special back.” “Ok..... but it’d better be something good.” Kagome gother her bike and peddled off in the wells direction. After a while Inuyasha smelled Kagome getting closer; he hopped out of his tree and sat down on the side of the well. Kagome peddled up shortly thereafter and sat her bike by the well. She hesitantly went to sit by Inuyasha expecting to get yelled at. Inuyasha did not yell, but instead gave Kagome a very concerned look. "Well I guess I’ll see you in a week." Said Kagome in a low tone.

Inuyasha did not respond. Kagome looked over and Inuyasha quickly dropped his gaze. Kagome got to her feet to go, but then Inuyasha grabbed her arm’ pulling her down and close into his chest. Kagome was very shocked and a little uncomfortable with Inuyasha's actions. "I don't think you should go back now." Said Inuyasha sternly in Kagome's ear. Kagome could tell something was wrong by the way that he held her so close and protective. "What is it Inuyasha?" Kagome replied tilting her head up to look at Inuyasha‘s golden eyes, still quite uncomfortable. Inuyasha ran a clawed hand down her cheek.

"You are in danger. Don't ask me how I know, I just feel it." stated Inuyasha in a strangely passionate way. Inuyasha drew closer until there lips met. Kagome was now even more surprised by Inuyasha's actions. Kagome pulled away and said "Inuyasha you liar! You just want me to stay and so you’re trying to hit on me to see if that will work!!" Kagome whirled around, raven colored locks following, and grabbing her bag off the sun baked grass and took a great leap into the well and was gone. Just after that Shippo walked out from behind a tree and sat down in the grass by Inuyasha. "What did you see Fox?" questioned Inuyasha.

Shippo grinned and said “Enough. So you and Kagome are an item now?” “We are nothing like that!” Inuyasha snarled. “What about that Kiss then?” said Shippo in a skeptical voice. Clunk! Clunk! Clunk! The sound of Inuyasha pounding on Shippo’s head was heard throughout the forest. Shippo walked away with several lumps on his head. Back in present time Kagome lay on her bed in her night clothes and thought about her very awkward kiss with Inuyasha. “What was that about, does he actually love me or is it nothing?” Then Kagome suddenly bolted upright in her bed. Kagome thought that she saw a face in the window. “I-Inuyasha” called Kagome hoping that it was him. Then in an instant her bedroom window shattered into peaces for no reason at all.

She jumped up to find that her jewel shards that were in a little glass bottle were on her window seal. She watched the jewel shards as they sat there. The jar the jewel shards were in started to wobble, fell over and rolled to the edge of the window. Kagome leaped into the air and grabbed the shards as they had started to go over the edge.

“Wow, that was close.” Kagome thought. At that moment Kagome saw a man in the corner of her eye. She looked over to see the black outline of a man standing under the big tree outside. “Oh no, is this what Inuyasha was talking about?” whispered Kagome. “No, it can’t be.” Kagome reassured herself as she got in bed. Kagome did not get much sleep that night and nether did Inuyasha. Inuyasha was up all night practicing with Tetsusiga in the forest. He was trying to find a way to improve the wind scar. He unleashed the power of the wind scar over and over again in an empty field outside the village.

Inuyasha was stressed out about Kagome. He wanted to go and check on Kagome but he know she would get angry. After all Kagome did need her alone time, besides, for all he knew things could be better than ever. One week passed by pretty fast for Kagome and before she knew it she was packing to go back to the feudal era. She made absolutely sure to get Shippo’s treat that he had been waiting for aeek.eek. She said goodbye to her family as mixed emotions ran through her head. She was ready to go and see all her r frr friends in feudal Japan, but she wanted to stay with her family longer too.

Kagome knew she had to go. Thoughts popped into her head of Inuyasha and Shippo blowing a gasket because she was late. She was walking out to the building that the well was locatn whn when her path was cut off by a wall of fire that stood at least ten feet tall. The heat was so intense that it started to singe Kagome’s clothes and any exposed skin. The fire surrounded her and got very close, but strangely it did not come close enough to inflict a major burn. The intense heat around Kagome started to make her fell dizzy and she fell to the ground rather hard. The fire dropped down rapidly to only three or four feet high, then it started to split in one place where you could see the outline of a man with his arms outstretched. He proceeded to walk through the hole in the fire and pull Kagome over his shoulder.

Then the fire balled under his feet and shot hundreds of feet up carrying them into the air, surrounding them both before vanishing. Back at lady Kaede’s, Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango were in intense training. Sango was improving her skills with her boomerang. Miroku ran and dodged Kaede’s arrows improving his agility. Inuyasha was trying to improve with Tetsusiga. Inuyasha was so worried about Kagome that training was the only thing that would get his mind off her. He still wanted to boost his power level with Tetsusiga even more, plus work on his speed, balance, and agility. After all, these were all key in wielding a sword that big. “AAHHH” Out of nowhere Miroku cried out in pain.

He had been struck right through the knee by an arrow. “Nice going you old bitch, you weren't actually suppose to shoot him.” Inuyasha yelled at Kaede in anger. “It was not my arrow that struck Miroku.” replied Kaede. Inuyasha looked over his shoulder to see a man with a raised bow and arrows stra aro around his waist. “Well well, it looks like we have ourselves a daredevil. You’d better run while you can ” Inuyasha growled. The man twisted his mouth into a wide smile. “Just who are you anyway?!” snarled Inuyasha. “I am Coram and I am here to slay you!” said the man. “Those are big words, you better be able to back them up!” yelled Inuyasha. Inuyasha lunged at Coram, “Iron Revere Soul Stealer!” Inuyasha pounded out as he flew in Coram's direction. Coram easily dodged the attack.

Over and over Inuyasha attempted to hit Coram and Coram kept dodging the attacks. Inuyasha finally drew the Tetsusiga. “Now it gets fun.” said Coram in a low and joyful tone. “We’ll see about that!” yelled an out of breath Inuyasha. Coram drew a long arrow from his waist. “I thing Kagomeld ald appreciate your staying put.” said Coram deviously. “YOU BASTARD!! What did you do to her!!” Inuyasha howled as he prepared to strike, “ I have arranged for a man named Flame to end her life. said Coram. Inuyasha stopped in mid-leap and landed on the ground lightly. What’s the catch Coram? Said Inuyasha in a threatening voice.

“I was hired for a large price to kill you, so you will simply let me strike you down I will tell your friends where to get her. If you put up a fight, I will kill you and let the girl die to.” Said Coram “I could strike you down with ease, but I will not gamble with Kagome’s life.” stated Inuyasha as he stood tall, waiting to die.
