Unforeseen Gift

“Why does life have to be so hard on me” she thought as she ran for the well “I can’t believe my mother would keep something so important from me” The only thing she wanted was to be fro from her mother. She was mad enough to cry.
Inu Yasha sat in a tree trying to pass the time until Kagome got back from her time. He tried to convince himself that it was just because he wanted to go shard hunting. (A/N: but we all know that its not) He didn’t expect her back for three days. However as he sat there he gradually became aware that her aura was back. He jumped down from the tree and ran toward the well to greet her. He didn’t however anticipate the state she was in. As soon as she saw him she ran into his arms and cried. He was instantly worried. He wrapped his arms around her “What’s wrong girl”.
She push away from him “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to cry, I just…oh never mind you would never understand anyway its ok I’ll be fine I just need some time alone to think. I’m going to the hot spring to relax I’ll meet you in the village in a little while ok.”
“Keh, whatever wench” with that he walked away and left her to take his former place in the tree.
She hadn’t meant to be mean; she would have to apologize to him later.
Anything was better then having to deal with her mother at the moment even Inu Yasha’s rude comments. She headed for the hot spring.
Kagome undress and settled into the waters to try and relieve some of her stress. The day’s events flashed though her mind.
Flashback
“Kagome I need to talk to you please”, she noticed the sad look in her mothers eyes and instantly began to worry.
“Sure mom, is there something wrong” she gave her mother a nervous look. “I’m sorry Kagome, I wanted to keep this from you but now I know that I can’t keep this from you especially sense you seem to be in constant danger when you travel though the well.” Her mother sighed.
“What are you talking about mom Inu Yasha protects me he would never let anything happen to me” she was getting really worried now.
“Let me finish before you say anything more please Kagome I know Inu Yasha would protect you with his life but one can never really know what can happen, anyway let me tell you my tale girl, When I was a young women of about twenty I took a trip to China for college. When I was there I met a man there and we had an affair and you are the result of that affair, Grandfather did approve and I was forced to leave China and that man. Soon after I got back I met and Married the man you know as your father” she was cut off by Kagome
“What the fuck” screamed Kagome, she turned and started to run away from her mother to the well she heard her mother yelling behind her
“PLEASE KAGOME COME BACK I WASN’T FINISHED PLEASE YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND…”
Kagome had not stop she just jumped into the well she never even heard the rest of what her mother was yelling.
End Flashback
Kagome was feeling a little foolish for running out on her mom but it still hurt knowing that all her life she had been lied to by her mother and her grandpa.
Kagome was so deep in though she didn’t feel the presence of the Youki (demon energy) approach her.
Kagome was suddenly pulled violently from the Water and thrown into a tree and instantly lost consciousness.
In Kagome’s Mind
“Am I going to die” she looked around. Suddenly there was a blinding light she couldn’t see anything but brilliant white light. She heard a Deep Male voice; it seemed to come from everywhere yet at the same time from no where.
“Child he will not make it in time to save you, you will have to fight on your own with your own power; Wake up and become your true self”
With that and incredible about of power surged through her body it was so powerful it was painful she let loose a howl of Pain.
In Kasha hear Kagome scream and was in an instant running at top speed to the Hot spring “Damn that stupid wench always in some kind of peril” he grunted as he ran as fast as he could he could by the time he got there the demon was already blown to bits and a very nude Kagome lay unconscious on the ground near a tree. He called out to her but she didn’t answer he tried to get closer to her but was thrown back by a large about of ki. As he tried to regain his wits he was started when Kagome’s body began to float of the ground. As he watch black stripes began to appear all over her body like tiger striped tattoos so around her ankles and four on either side of her waist below her breast and two band like strips appeared around her wrist and two strips on her left cheek. Her hair was changing as well; white and reddish blond streaks started to appear. (A/N: Well her hair is getting streaked with the colors of a bangle tiger) Kagome’s face twisted with painfully before her eyes opened and she gently floated back to the ground, her eye’s were now to different colors one ice blue and the other a brilliant light green.
Kagome was too stunned for a moment to notice the Inu Yasha staring at her, but when she did you could hear the sit for miles around.
The end tell the next chapter.
Well tell me what you think this is my first try at writing so please be nice and by the way Kagome is not a demon. But I won’t give away exactly what she is. I will not threaten for reviews but please don’t flame me
