Descent Into Insanity

Alrighty, well this is my very first fic so let’s dispense with the disclaimer and get on with it.

Disclaimer: Basically I don’t own InuYasha or any of the chars sooo don’t sue me I have no money

_=As the scene comes into view we see our favorite demon lord with a dilemma on his hands=_

Soft footsteps could be heard through the forest as small creatures scurried out of the way of the great Inu Lord. Sesshomaru stopped and his golden eyes scanned the area for his young ward that had wandered off. If it was anyone else they would have growled in frustration but not this demon although he was irritated it would never show. “Rin, where have you wandered off to now?”

The small child sat at a small pond a sigh escaping her small lips that drooped into a frown. “Lord Sesshomaru will not be pleased with Rin.” Rin put her feet in the water and shivered. “It’s cold…” She turned around when she heard footsteps and ran to the figure latching onto him. “My lord I’m so happy that you have found me.” The girl stepped back and looked into his cold eyes thinking she saw a flash of emotion but it passed quickly”

Sesshomaru was relieved when he had found Rin but quickly grew angry not at what she did but at the fact that he allowed it to affect him so much. She was only a human child and he was a great demon lord. “Rin lets go.” He turned and headed back towards his castle without saying another word.

She nodded and followed behind him her usual cheerfulness missing from her face. Rin was glad that she wasn’t being yelled out but the silence was even worse. In seconds she said something that would change her life forever. “Why should Rin even care Rin is only human lord Sesshomaru would never like Rin.” The child didn’t expect what happened next, in seconds she was greeted with the face of her lord’s right in front of hers “My Lord is something wrong.”

He didn’t know why it happened all he knew is as soon as those first words left her mouth he felt a pain in his chest. His mind was being overrun with emotions which he had not felt since he was a child /What have I done… she cares about me she tries to make me happy and cheerful and yet all I do is cause her pain.../ Sesshomaru growled at the wild emotions flying around and needed an outlet for them. Before he knew what was happening he had turned and kneeled bringing his face close to hers. When she let out that last question something broke inside of him and he pressed his lips against hers while his mind screamed that this was wrong so very wrong. /Damn why can’t I stop this she is just a child…she’s like a daughter to me I can’t I WON’T do this to her./

Her eyes went wide as she felt Sesshomaru’s lips press against her own. Rin’s body shivered involuntarily as it seemed that her mind was elsewhere like she was floating and that really wasn’t her down there but in a sudden rush she came back to reality when Sesshomaru ended the one sided kiss. She watched as Sesshomaru turned and started to walk back towards the castle. The confused child silently followed

The woman watched with a smirk as the scene unfolded before her. Once it was all said and done she flew off on a white feather in a gust of wind “Hmmm its seems that Naraku’s poison has taken effect… poor child she has no idea what’s in store for her”

_=An Evil laugh can be heard as the scene fades=_

Well that does it for part one #2 is on its way but please review until it arrives… also forgive me if there is any OOCness
