Firewood

This is my first Inuyasha pick so be kind. Ignore any spelling and grammar errors.

Inuyasha was sitting in the middle of the forest on a branch of the tallest tree. He couldn’t help but think of only one creature. To most it would appear his longing eyes were waiting for Kagome to return once again from her world, but they would be wrong. The half dog demon wanted only another demon, one that would make his friends worry of his sanity. He longed to look into deep blue eyes and run his clawed hands through dark long hair. He wanted to kiss the elf like ears of his love. The one creature he wanted more than anything was…a demon…a leader…a prince…a wolf…was…Kouga.

All Inuyasha could think about was Kouga. Ever since their last encounter during a battle with Naraku, when the young Prince of Wolves had looked into Inuyasha’s golden eyes. For that one second it felt like Inuyasha was complete. Kouga’s lips twitch in a smile but he figured it was just another one of Kouga’s ‘I’m better than you’ smirks.

That had been two days ago. Inuyasha found himself wondering if Kouga was thinking of him. But knew that Kouga wouldn’t be wanting him that way, after all Kouga loved Kagome, he sure looked and acted like it anyway. So Inuyasha would just have to keep dreaming of his wolf. As the sun started to rise, Inuyasha jumped from his tree making his way back to the group that would be waking shortly.

Days turned into weeks. Soon Inuyasha was too busy fighting demons to think of anything but survival. But that wouldn’t last long. As the group was making its way across a small stream Inuyasha caught a whiff of another demon. The scent was unmistakably Kouga. It was recent maybe within the last half-hour. The wolf had definitely been near this stream, if not right in it. Bathing perhaps.

The thought made Inuyasha instantly hard. Now was when he was truly thankfully for his large red pants. He stifled a moan as Sango suggested they make camp there for the night. That meant he would have to smell Kouga for a couple more hours before the scent faded. He wasn’t sure he could make it that long around the wolf’s scent and not do anything about his problem which was steadily becoming more difficult to ignore. So when Miroku started off to the trees to get some firewood so they could keep warm that night, Inuyasha steeped forward.

“I’ll get it.”

“I’ll help you then,” Miroku said as he continued on his way.

Thinking quickly Inuyasha went up to the monk and whispered where only they could here, “Maybe you should help Sango out here. She fought hard in the last battle. She might be grateful for the rest.”

Knowing the weakness the monk had for women, especially Sango, Inuyasha was sure that Miroku would take the bait and allow him to go off into the forest to get the firewood alone and relieve himself. He wasn’t disappointed.

“That’s a good idea Inuyasha. I’m sure you can handle things on your own,” with that Miroku went off to help Sango with an odd if not hungry look on his face.

Sighing in relief Inuyasha made his way deep into the trees, thinking the further he was from the stream the weaker the scent of Kouga would be. But as he walked he noticed that the smell seemed to be getting stronger. In fact it smelt like Kouga was right in front of him. Making sure he wasn’t making any noise, which was unusually for him, he made his way to a large oak tree that stood just a couple of feet from him. Slowly he looked around its giant trunk and found a small clearing. And in that clearing lying against a large boulder was Kouga.

His long legs were stretched out in front of him crossed at the ankles. His right hand rested against the armor on his stomach while the other arm was bent back behind his head acting like a pillow against the rough rock face. The wind gently blew making his long black ponytail beat lightly against his arm behind his head. His eyes were closed and his chest was raising and falling slowly as he slept.

Inuyasha had never seen anything so beautiful in his life. He watched silently from behind the safety of the tree for several minutes before slowly and quietly moving around it. He made his way toward Kouga, keeping all his senses alert and trained on him. The closer he got to the wolf the more his scent engulfed him. He smelled of the woods and most recently the stream. Closing his eyes once he’d stopped a few feet from him, Inuyasha just concentrated on that rich, masculine smell. But in doing this he missed the twitching ears of the demon he was admiring.

“What are you doing here mutt?”

Inuyasha’s eyes snapped open to find dark blue eyes staring back at him. For the first time in his life he was at a loss for words and just stared at the wolf demon.

“Well? What’s wrong? I know you were trained to speak, so speak,” Kouga remained leaning against the boulder watching Inuyasha closely incase he was there to fight.

Inuyasha snapped out of his shock to retort, “Hey, you don’t own these woods. I can walk wherever I want. So leave me alone wolf boy.”

“You weren’t walking, mutt, you were staring,” he sniffed the air, “And it smells as if you liked what you were staring at.”

“Wh…,” Inuyasha also took a whiff of the air. He could clearly smell his own arousal in the air. He looked quickly at Kouga with wide golden eyes. “I…uh…I…,” he couldn’t think of any think to say that might explain the situation.

“Take another sniff, dogface,” Kouga watched the half dog demon with a smirk.

Giving Kouga an odd look, Inuyasha did as told. Again there was the overpowering scent of his own arousal yet along with it was another scent. At first he couldn’t place it but then it hit him…it was Kouga’s arousal.

He stared wide-eyed at the wolf prince, unbelieving in what his senses were teg hig him. Kouga was aroused. It couldn’t be because of him…could it? Maybe he smelt Kagome. Inuyasha sniffed the air again…no he couldn’t smell her even on himself. Maybe…just maybe Kouga was turned on by him.

Slowly Inuyasha moved forward, Kouga remained still just watching as Inuyasha sat beside him in his dog fashion. Neither spoke for several minutes, they just watched each other.

“What are you doing in these woods, mutt?” Kouga finally broke the silence.

“We’re making camp by the stream. You?”

“Trying to find some peace and quite.”

Not being able to stop himself Inuyasha blurted out, “I thought you like Kagome?”

“Yes and no. She would make a good mate and give me cubs but she isn’t really my type for anything else. What about you? You act jealous enough when I’m around here.”

“I protect her, that’s all. I’m all she has here.” Inuyasha looked out through the tall trees but was snapped back into reality by a rough yet gentle hand caressing his check.

“Kouga…”

“Shh, don’t ruin theent ent with your barking, mutt,” Kouga pulled himself up on his knees and leaned toward Inuyasha.

The kiss was gentle yet demanding at the same time. Hands tangled in each other’s hair so soft moans escaped lips. Breaking only a moment for air Kouga started kissing down Inuyasha’s cheek and nipping on his neck lightly.

“Onegai…Kouga…” Inuyasha was silenced as the wolf demon made his way back up his neck and covered his lips in another kiss. This one was more demanding. Kouga leaned forward more causing Inuyasha to fall onto his back, never having their lips part. Falling from the position he was in caused Kouga to land in between Inuyasha’s bent knees, his hands on either side of Inuyasha’s head keeping him from putting his full weight on the half demon.

Inuyasha moaned as Kouga’s erection rubbed against his. He reached up and pulled Kouga down more were all of him rest a top him. They parted again and looked into each other’s eyes.

“There is something you must understand before we go any further,” Kouga’s voice had taken on a serious tone, and if Inuyasha heard correctly, a hint of sadness.

“What?” Inuyasha leaned up and started kissing along Kouga’s jaw line until he was gently pushed back down.

“I’m serious mutt. Listen,” taking a deep breath and looking Inuyasha straight in the eyes he began, “You have to understand that this cannot be a one time thing. Wolves mate for life. I’m prepared for you to be my only one but are you?”

Inuyasht tht the words sink into his head. After tonight he could be with no other. The rest of his life would be spent with Kouga. Could he handle that? All his life he had been an outcast, only knowing love from his mother who died when he was young. His brother wanted him dead, he had the group of Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kagome who he knew loved him as a friend.

He really didn’t want to live with Shippo his entire life and the others were human. They would die one day. But he was half demon…he would live for centuries. He didn’t want to spend all that time alone like most of his life. He wanted someone to spend it with. And his feelings for Kouga made him the prefect companion. He was strong and beautiful. Sometimes Inuyasha got tired of fighting but with the others he had to continue no matter what. But with a asa as his mate he could stop and take a break, he knew the wolf prince would protect his mate. So he knew his decision.

“Yes, I want you as my only mate for all of time.”

Kouga let out a breath he didn’t even know he was holding before leaning back down and kissing his soon to be life mate. Inuyasha let his clawed hands roam over the sides of Kouga as he dislodged their lips to start nipping on the wolf demon’s jaw and up to his pointed elfin ears. “I want a strong mate that can protect me when I’m tired from battle. I…”

He was suddenly jerked back to look into serious blue eyes, “If your going to be my mate you’re going to have to cut back on fighting. I know you’ve done it your entire life but I won’t have my mate in a dangerous situation. But I know you can’t stop fighting completely but your cutting back. Got it!”

Inuyasha was taken back by Kouga’s firm tone. His entire life was fighting, mainly for survival for himself and recently the others. He figured he would be battling until his death, which would most likely be in a battle. But here was someone who wanted him to stop. Kouga wasn’t even his mate yet but he was already protective of him in wanting him out of danger. He couldn’t think of anyone that had ever asked him not to fight. He knew Kouga was right, he wouldn’t be able to stop fighting completely because he loved it. But not fighting all the time would be great.

“I’ll cut down on fighting but your right I can’t stop. The others need my help and it is fun to kill demon scum.”

Kouga smiled, “I’ll travel with you and protect them. But after the shards are collected and Naraku’s dead we are going back to my pack and settling down.”

“I’d like that.” Inuyasha leaned up and kissed the soft yet firm lips of the wolf prince.

Not wanting to waste anymore time Kouga brought one of his hands up and started taking off Inuyasha red and white shirts in a quick fashion. Pulling away from Inuyasha’s sweet lips he threw the clothes to the side and then started licking down the center of Inuyasha’s chest. He licked down the hidden muscles of the dog demon’s stomach while his hands quickly removed the red pants.

Inuyasha had his head thrown back in pleasure of the tongue that was making its journey down his front. He couldn’t remember a time when he felt this good. Just as he was getting used to the sensations that were coursing though his body he felt the body of Kouga being lifted off of him.

He lay there for a moment with his eyes closed missing the warmth of the other’s body. He was about to open them and ask what was wrong when he felt the body return only this time instead of feeling the cold mental of armor he felt a bare chest. His eyes opened at the contact to see a smiling demon above him with a hungry look on his face.

“Hmm…I can’t wait to have you,” Kouga again started kissing Inuyasha, this time beginning at his neck and working his way up to the white dog ears that rested on top of Inuyasha’s head. He purred against it as he felt his naked erection brushing Inuyasha’s.

Inuyasha racked his hands down the back of the wolf demon, leaving white marks. When his hand reached the firm butt he squeezed gently and heard the soft moan come from the lips that were nipping at his neck.

Kouga reached in between their bodies to take a firm hold of the half dog demon’s erection. His kissing became more demanding and bruising as the scent of Inuyasha filled his nose. He found that he loved to hear the half demon’s moans as he was being pleasured and he couldn’t wait to hear those moans for the rest of his life.

“Stop…I’m…I’m gonna cum,” Inuyasha tired to hold back for longer but he knew that if Kouga kept up the pace he would cum shortly.

“Then cum, my mutt,” Kouga knew that Inuyasha didn’t want to yet thinking that it would end there. But Kouga wasn’t done with him yet. He increased the speed of his hand moving up and down on Inuyasha’s arousal until he felt his gasps and felt the white liquid spray them both on the stomach.

Grinning he kissed Inuyasha on the lips as his hand collected the liquid from his own stomach. “Now we have some fun.” He reached down in between Inuyasha opened legs and ran his wet finger around the tight ring of muscles. Pleased with the moan he received he gently let the finger slip inside.

Inuyasha threw back his head at the initial pain that followed. But soon the pain disappeared to allow pleasure to course through up his spine. Minutes past like this as Kouga followed the first finger with two more until Inuyasha couldn’t take anymore.

“Need you…now!” Inuyasha grabbed the ponytail of Kouga and pulled him into a powerful kiss. Kouga took this as the opportunity to gather the rest of Inuyasha’s semen from his stomach and coat his erection before entering into Inuyasha’s passage.

Kouga’s lips silenced the small scream that came from Inuyasha as he entered. He steadied himself with his hands on either side of Inuyasha’s white head and remained still, patiently waiting for Inuyasha to grow accustom to the new sensations.

Several minutes later Inuyasha bucked his hips up to met Kouga’s. Kouga knew what he wanted and slowly pulled out of Inuyasha channel until just the tip of his erection was inside of him and then pushed back in. He kissed down Inuyasha’s jaw as he continued to move in and out of him slowly.

Inuyasha thought he was going to die from the pleasure he was receiving. So this was what it would be like to have a life mate. Feeling like this all the time. Not just from the physical contact but with something else. He felt if deep down inside of him. Something he hadn’t known for a very long time. Love.

He opened his eyes and pulled Kouga back a little so that he could see into those dark blue depths while they continued to make love. What he saw inside those eyes almost made him cry. He saw what he felt. Love.

Right when he realized this he felt Kouga brush against a spot inside of him that made him what to scream at the top of his lungs in pure pleasure. But instead he brought Kouga’s ear down to his lips and moaned, “Faster…please...harder.”

Not needing any more persuading Kouga started to move faster. He knew that he couldn’t last much longer himself so he reached between there bodies once again aook ook hold of Inuyasha hardened member. He moved his hand up and down it at the same pace he was setting with his hips.

Inuyasha threw his head back and let out a small scream as he erupted once again on both of their stomachs. With the tightening of the heat that surrounded his erection, Kouga couldn’t hold back any longer and released his seed deep within his life mate. His arms gave out as he pulled out of Inuyasha and collapsed beside him in the clearing.

Theyd thd there in silence for several minutes catching their breaths. Their bodies were covered in sweat and Inuyasha’s semen. Once he had gotten rested up, Kouga rolled onto his side and lifted himself up on one elbow before leaning over and licking at Inuyasha’s stomach.

Inuyasha opened his eyes when he felt a rough tongue on his abdomen. He picked his head up to find Kouga licking the semen off of him. Once he was done, Inuyasha growled before he pushed him down on his back and returned the favor. Even though it was his seed he could taste Kouga with it and it made him purr. When he was done he brought his lips up to Kouga’s and kissed him long and hard.

As Inuyasha pulled away from the kiss and laid his head on Kouga’s bare shoulder he chuckled. “What are you laughing at mutt?” Kouga asked as he ran his hands through the soft white hair of his new lover.

“Guess I forgot the firewood.”

“Yep. They’ll just have to get it themselves. Cause I’m not done with you tonight.” Kouga growled as he shoved Inuyasha done on his back and began kissing him all over.

The clearing was filled with sounds of love for the rest of the night. But off in the near distance by a stream were the sounds of two girls cursing a certain half dog demon under their breath as they sat shivering and trying to keep a certain sex alcoholic monk away from them.
