I've been looking for a good Naraku-Kagome fiction and was SO happy when I found this one! This is the best portrayal of Kagome's conflicting emns ans about her relationship with Inuyasha I've read so far. The interaction between Kag and Naraku was just right, specially seeing what was going on inside Kagome's confused head. Since I prefer slow-to-build love-hate romances, I'm glad she didn't automatically fall for Naraku. I do hope this story ends up with N/K.
On a side note: Personally, I'm rather appalled at Inuyasha's double-mindedness & Kagome's rather masochistic one-sided love for him as portrayed in the anime & most specially in the manga. However, I realize this iw thw the author Takahashi continues to pull at the heart strings of her fans and lengthen the now long story even further. That's why I love reading fiction like this, it helps me get over my frustration with how Inu and Kagome's relationship are just dragging along in the real story.
Enough with my ranting. Good job and update very soon!

Is this an Inuyasha/Kagome story or a Kagome/Naraku story? Or... maybe it's neither? I'm hoping it's Naraku/Kagome since there are so few of them, especially as good as this one is. ^_^ Excellent story.

Chapter 2 was awesome, but the ending has left me craving more of this fic! I am eager to find out what will take place between Kagome and Inuyasha. I hope to read more soon.
