Dang! This is good!

From the summary, while the idea is unique in IY fanfics, I thought it would be pretty predictable - survivors split to two groups, good and evil, and their true nature revealed as they battle it out to survive. But your first chapter had me hooked!

Brilliant idea by starting with a glimpse of the survivors on the island with a mysterious enemy instead of jumping right into the cruise to begin with. I thought this was a Sess-Kag fic (or hoping so!) so from that first scene I thought the lover on the beach was Sess and Naraku the enemy...but as I read on Naraku is not the evil being I thought (tho a bit of a sociopath as he himself says) but who's really lonely and it seemed you were knitting together a possible Nar-Kag pairing...so perhaps Naraku was Kag's lover on the beach?  To be honest I'm a bit torn about that, I want Naraku to find happiness and can kinda see them together but really want Sess with Kag. (^^;

Loved how the enemy was the island or something on the island that possibly lured them / keeping them there, forcing them to work together. And man, Rin was creepy! Great job on the dark-horror side. Then you threw Mika and her dad in the picture...and Akito...

When you mentioned there was going to be a rape, I was thinking oh no which of the three girls will be the victim and which the offender...then you threw the twist. I never would've imagined...

The suspence, mystery was artfully done (you had my brain running crazy with 'What The Hecks' in c6!). c7 while providing interesting background, since there was only one more chapter left, I was skimming through that to get back to the action on the island...

I realise it's been two years since you last updated. I hope you're well and really hope you'll see this story through to the end.  Thanks for sharing this unique story!

I loved this chapter!!! In your first scene between Inuyasha and Kikyo was beautifully written out. You got to see a different side to him, than you normally would. Their love story was cut short, if I may so bitter sweet. Takano reaction was also sad, when he seen his dead sister. Great with brining out emotion, and well executed their. I cried a little bit, I know the feeling myself. Omg! Though I can't believe he doesn't recognize Risa lol! She was dating his uncle for peak sakes, then again he wasn't really too good with memory lol! Bank and Jak's scene was intense and emotional at the same time. He can just imagine how close they were to Renkotsu. It seem they had an unbreakable bond, that only death can separate. It was a emotional scene for me too. They had a hard life sometimes I know they wonder when does it get better. So much bloodshed almost probably makes them numb. Bank and Jak do need to find some happiness in messed up lives they have lived. Sesshomaru and Rin's scene was too cute, but at the same time you felt sorry for Rin. For the mother she never had nor will I should say. I do picture Sesshomaru spoiling her like that, and more if he could help it. Jensen and Kira was cute ad well too. I'm wondering though does he go both ways. Or is that the part he plays as smooth operator lol! Naraku's scene was delicious in every sense of the way. The smut was good and great job on it too lol! *drools* He's a freak and I like! Again great job from you as always! I loved how their lives intertwined with each other. You pulled that off with execution, and it was a smooth transition too. Thank you for this lovely update of a chapter! I can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the good work! :-)

Here I am lol!!!! OMG!!!! Such a steamy chapter, I loved it! I just absolutely loved the whole illusion scene with Bank and Naraku. I was really hoping it was real between the two!!! But you made up for it with Kagome and Naraku! Which I loved by the way, maybe they will be pair maybe not. I never know in this story, which I like the whole mystery thing.Finally some action but I like the suspense from it, it keeps me on my toes lol!!! Now Akito and his family are just creepy, but that water does exist makes me wonder if they drink it will everyone gain their senses back. Poor Inuyasha is still stuck dreaming or coma as we call it. Jensen and Jak are such an adorable pair, I love them! They complement each other well. OMG, I can't say how much I enjoy your stories. Reading them is such an adventure and much more. I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us readers. Keep up the amazing drifting! Don't worry about updating life catches up to us all! We will always be here when you update! I'm so sorry for the late review my friend, but here I am lol!!! The beginning of this chapter was awesome! Creepy but nonetheless made you want to read more. Inuyasha I'm wondering if he did create it can he destroy it. Akito might be tricking him also, again poor Inuyasha is forever reminded of what he lost, but hopefully finds peace. Also interesting how Akito only wants Kagome, maybe for her powers or is he sealed there by miko and wants her to undo his seal. I don't know just some crazy ideas that pop in my head from time to time. But he somehow sealed Kagome's power which is interesting in itself. Jack and Jensen could it get any streamer my friend!! Oh, I so thought it was going to happen between the two. Poor Jack might have experience some bad guys or relationships, but it makes it interesting to see if the wolf can regain favor! Naraku's encounter was even spooker than Inuyasha's just for the fact that he was awake having conversation with a person he don't know even exists. That's a loop I hope gets answered truly though. Cause if this is true they need to get he hell out and dodge. But for some reason I think they wants them to go into the jungle, so it can do something. I just haven't figure out the something maybe sacrifice of some sort. I love your writing as always. It's pleasure to read such good material from. Thank you for the update!!!! OMG!!! This by far is my favorite chapter! Risa and Inuyasha kissed, actually I like that to be honest. I thought that flowed pretty well, maybe they'll slowly fall for each other, hehehe! Oh, I completely understand about Sesshomaru's character. I like how you are portraying him, it makes sense. Jensen and Jak I love it! Jensen is a sexy wolf with green eyes, I go for it too, lol!Love the pairing, I couldn't put it better myself. Naraku I love that he took the evil entity away, but how come Kagome can't purfiy the evil energy. It could be that this Akito has locked away her powers, and she has to figure a way to get them back. Sango and Kira moment was heart breaking for me, and I enjoyed that scene between them. It truly shows how people slowly break or can only tolerate so much, and become traumatized from the ordeal. Again great writing from you as always. Love how you brought out those emotions, making the reader feel one with the story. Keep up the brilliant writing, you do! Thank you for the update! :-)

I love it! Poor Kagome seen Hojo, and was knocked out for a week. Really sweet of Naraku taking care of her. Again poor Naraku never had a girlfriend, cause they are scared of him. Like how you Inuyasha is moving forward with the ordeal of losing his family. In all honesty I'm kind of surprised Sesshomaru is not the leader, but then again Bank didn't lose anyone. So Bank has his head together, which is good. Though I was puzzled since Kagome is a miko why couldn't she purify the fog since its evil. Could be the island restricts her powers as well. The boy was super creepy. I can't wait for the next chapter!!! I love this story, it interesting and it keeps me guessing. Thank you for the update!!!! Keep up the awesome writing!!!:-)

OMG! That was so creepy, it made my skin crawl. I love it thought! It had me on the edge of my seat. Poor Rin I feel bad for her. Though I'm curious who is the enemy, such a tormented soul lol! I love this story already! The Kagome and Hojo was nice, til he died lol. Okay I think I need a few more chapters before my mind starts reeling with ideas, hehehe!
