I love it!!!! The buildup is so fabtastic, with a fiery afterburn to both of their reactions to Kagome's flare up and consequences that could be going forward. Sesshomaru isn't the type of demon to apologize with words but with actions. Sure he has to punish her for her precieved failings and lying and the sherry unmitigated gall of back sass in him. But in the end his beast knows best and he needs her in his life. I can't wait to read more. Please please give me my dynamic fix!

LOVE THIS. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. I know you were talking about the characters being OOC in the beginning, but I think you kept Sess pretty close to canon. Even though it's been a few months, are you still writing this fic? I really hope so!

I just read this for the 1st time and I didn't know what to think in the beginning. At 1st I felt so bad for Kagome & so angry at Sessh. When I read that it might he might force her to be with others I didn't know if I'd be able to continue reading this, not because the possible acts but because of the pain, shame, humiliation & suffering she was going through. Not just with Sessh but more because she was trying her hardest to do good in school, trying to make her family happy, working so hard to help her family survive & to pay for treatments that may help her brother live, & then, on top of it all, having Sessh do the things he did & treat her so badly, punishing her for things she was already punishing herself for. The reason I kept reading was because I just knew that at some point Sessh would find out about her brother & realize the reason for all she was doing: why she'd started stripping, & was now, working such long hours, doing homework all hours of the night, barely eating & worrying about her brother. He was so shocked when she finally told him that even his demon speed & reflexes failed him. Now that he knows & he still isn't willing to give her up & his pride won't let him go to her ,..so he's now he's doing something that he knows will send her flying back to him as soon as she finds out. I hope this story isn't over because I'd like to see what happens next

Why has it been so long? I have been following the story for a while now and so far it has never taken you this long....I hope everything is fine and you have not dropped the story.

My tradition of reading to relax my mind and escape from the realities of the day before I give over to hopefully a peaceful nights sleep, is what brought me to the site today. I had every intention of reading a story or two then calling it a night; however, what started off as one chapter, to okay one more chapter, quickly became screw it I'm reading all the chapters of your story before I go to bed. Despite your earlier comments about not liking the direction of the characters, I never felt they were being misguided or were even weird. You had me after the first paragraph. I thought the detail of emotions both Sesshomaru and Kagome were experiencing were highly believable and captivating. I have to admit I never liked reading Sesshomaru/kagome pairings; I've always favored the Inuyasha/kagome story lines that featured their relationship ups and downs. But you convinced me that a Sesh/Kags pairing is worth something to read and to recommend to my friends. Trust me they'll be hearing about this story! Thank you for this and I sincerely hope you can continue to add more chapters. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out this site to read more of your stories (navigating this site is not easy). >.<
