Cute story. I dont usually like stories written in first person, but you did a good job keeping it from getting stale. The only thibg I really had to laugh at was when you had them screaming out each others names... it fondly reminded me of watching "episode infinity" on youtube (spoof of inuyasha). Good job, and thanks for writing.
