While the premise was interesting, the odd use, or lack there of, of commas is seriously distracting as my brain keeps stopping and wanting to add or try to figure out where it does belong. I would strongly suggest finding a beta or friend to go over your work to fix such issues. Beyond that, the storyline has a good premise and promise!
