Although I'm curious as to what dark drama might be waiting to unfold... You're writing style is usually much more bittersweet than what we've seen so far in this story. Regardless, I love it and look forward to more!

This is my latest, most favorite story! I snuggled up and read all 13 chapters posted so far in a single sitting. You've done a wonderful job using the passage of time to smooth Kouga's rough (and sometimes obnoxious) edges. I feel he is still very much in character, but has matured in a believable way in your story. Same for your portrayal of Kogome. Her reaction to the difficult situation she was thrust into is exactly what you would expect of her. They make a wonderful pair so far :)
Your writing style really builds a reader's connection to the characters, you can't help but feel a twinge in your own heart for their suffering or happiness. You did not rush them, and the relationship has definite character in itself. Conversations are very natural to read and while they may have adorable moments, they aren't "cheesy/corny" which is refreshing. Your use of additional characters is great as well- it adds a balance and offers some comic relief when needed. Plus it really helps develop a comfortable environment for the story, the main characters don't seem isolated in the plot (I'm super excited to see how things work out with the cliffhanger you just left us at here at the end of ch 13!).
There are a few things that could be improved upon though. For one, there are quite a few cases of typos, misuse of certain words in context, etc. But the fact that these do not affect the quality of writing or flow of the story at all shows what a great story teller you naturally are :) I very much look forward to reading more from you, and will continue following this story avidly!

OMG, chapter 13 woke me right up out of my sleep. I hope Kagome can help fix the situation so the Kouga clan can finally breathe easy. This story is sooo exciting. Please update soon.
