awesome post! Sesshoumaru seems like he wants very much to keep his brother close. and the story about the past was sad but truly insightful. you get to see a Sesshoumaru that did care for his family, even adored his step mom. :) which is so a PLUS! lol Can't wait for more.

I so love it when Sesshoumaru holds Inuyasha's hand. It is so damn cute and Inuyasha is really finding himself attracted to Sesshoumaru. I just can't wait to have Sesshoumaru aliviate that Heat of Inuyasha's. I hope that Inuyasha will be the uke this time.

Your story is amazing... its really addicting. i think that Xin's kids should take Sesshomaru's lecture 2 heart, i also think Kouga and Shippo should have permiment roles in the story ya no to keep Inuyasha happy it will give him a fimilar face 2 bond with while he's at the castle... as to what im expecting... im expecting the Inu bros to stumble across the army while Inuyashas in heat... and Sesshomaru to have to mate with him mark him and everything.... wont that show his mom ^.^ and if you do bring in Sango and Mirroku id say they'd have 2 or 3 young kids and maybe another on the way

I think letting Sango & Miroku show up is up to you. All I have to suggest is if you do, make sure too much focus isn't put on them. Same thing with Kouga and Shippo. As for kids, I definitely think so, but again, not too much focus on them. I really, really hope that Xin's children can come around. However, I feel that with the personalities you gave them that if Xin is to be the one to change their minds, then he'll have to apply a different method for each of them. Probably the son would have to fight Sesshomaru (at Xin's suggestion/manipulation) in order to learn anything, while I think the daughter could come around given some time and seeing how Sesshomaru rules. As for the last question, that all depends on whether it's a temporary or permanent break. If it's the latter, then no way! :P In the case of the former, I could see Inuyasha's feelings on the matter causing problems for the intimacy to continue. He's still going through a lot of things from the Trial, not to mention the troubling events from that dragon asshole. So going forward in his new relationship with Sesshomaru could cause problems and he could be going into it for all the wrong reasons. So I could see the need for him to step back and really think about what he wants to do with his life and where he truly stands with Sesshomaru. I don't know how long you plan to make the war (or is it over? not fully awake), so you could plan for them to try again after the war and maybe throw in a few cute sibling scenes. Alternatively, if you do plan on bringing in Sango and Miroku, since Miroku is a good well of advice, maybe he could give Inuyasha a bit of counsel on the situation. Also, you can't forget that Sesshomaru also needs to think about all of this; added to this is the fact that he desperately wants a good relationship with Inuyasha, so it could easily be said that he's putting more into the relationship than his brother. As a sidenote, I think the water nymph shouldn't have died. Maybe it could have just been a water clone, or his way of playing possum?

Whew. This is the longest review I've ever done but I really love this story. Hopefully all of this made sense.

*jaw drops* that was somehow astonishing, erotic, and emotionally taxing all at the same time. I am very impressed! and that was a fantastic chapter as well as the last one since I had to catch up. lol you're writing is fantastic and I really enjoyed watching the relationship with the brother's evolve through that ordeal. It's not over yet though and i can't wait to read more and see where this goes!!!

Great chapter. Soooo long. I loved the chapter and Sesshoumaru secret base.
