I love the last chapter. Inuyasha is so cute. He is going to be such a good Mommy to his pups and Sesshoumaru is going to be an Uncle. I wonder how he is going to feel about that. I doubt he ever would believe his little brother could have pups and it would make for some seriously good chapters to have Sesshoumaru possibly challenge Kouga for his mate since his brother can carry pups. Just a thought.

Good story. Man, it took Kouga long enough to assert his leadership. And why in the world did Inuyasha tell him about that council member. That wolf is just plain crazy. Kouga needs to clean house and get rid of him and the others. I wonder if Sesshomaru will stop by for a visit now that his brother is mated?

Well it may have been a hard chapter to write, but you did it wonderfully! I was so in aw of how cute you made the pups sounds when they woke up ^.^ such cuties! and I cant wait to read the next chapter! I can tell its going to be great.

Actually, I wasn't sitting there thinking "ooooh, that old man should get his comeuppance!" it was more that -- I guess I am hoping that he will finally see past his own prejudices and see Inuyasha plainly, not as a manipulative and meddlesome hanyou, but instead as a good fighter, a good parent to the cubs, and someone who has overcome his insecurities and fears and learned to be with Kouga unabashedly despite all his previous entanglements - romantic and otherwise - leading to only misery. I want the old man to realize that the fact that Inuyasha was willing to leave was *not* the result of a simple mind or a weak will that could be easily manipulated, but instead the result of his very real love and concern for his newfound family.
I want the old man to realize that he's been unfair.
(And also, I want the smallest, beaten-down underdog ookami to become Inuyasha's friend.)
The one amusing thing that keeps striking me is that I keep picturing the old man as Scar from the Lion King, especially when he orders the three wolf warriors to go after Inuyasha and kill him as he flees. (Yes, the wolf warriors were demoted to hyenas. This kind of thing happens frequently in my strange mind.)
Anyway, thanks for posting this :)
