Really interesting. I like how Inuyasah is confused but able to accept the situation at the same time. Thanks for writing.

Yay! Shame on you for being late! But yeah, better late than never. ;-) I'm so happy that all the confusion is over and done with. That was fun while it lasted, but it honestly couldn't have gone on forever and ever and I think you picked the perfect place to end it. Inuyasha, in his confused desperation, said the perfect thing. He didn't have gaps in his memories, he had different memories, and asking Sesshoumaru almost pleadingly for an answer as to why he and only he remembered things differently enabled the very smart and oft times logical daiyoukai to reach the only plausible explanation. To quote Spock who was quoting Sherlock Holmes, "Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." I love how Inuyasha felt that tremendous wave of relief know that Kagome, or at least his Kagome (which is the only Kagome that matters to him) is still alive and safe and well, right where he left her with her family in the future. He's not worried about what did or didn't happen in the world he's in now because it's not his world to change, and he no longer has to worry about wrapping his head around all the random differences either, filing it away under 'other world shit' and not worrying about it beyond that. LOL, I loved that line, by the way. I also loved that despite himself he felt a little guilty for upsetting Sesshoumaru, though I must say in a way I do agree with Inuyasha. It really isn't fair, he should have gotten a say in the matter, but fate sucks at times, what can I say? It's also true that the people in his world, while they might miss him, certainly won't mourn him, assuming just like he knows they will that he'd merely made it back to Kagome and either chose to remain with her or cannot return, but either way they'll assume he's in a better place and happy and they know he's not dead. He does raise a good point, though, that he can't just automatically fill in the gap in the other world, because he's a differently shaped Inuyasha puzzle piece and he doesn't fit...or at least not yet. I'm really looking forward to Sesshoumaru showing him that he does belong in their world, after all, that he is needed though it isn't to battle an enemy. In the end, I get the feeling that Inuyasha will be glad the well whisked him away to a place where he could have his own happily ever after and not live the rest of his life in miserable solitude. But just because I kind of generally know where you're going with this that doesn't mean I'm not eager to voyeuristically watch them every step of the way, so update as soon as you can! :-)

I really love your story. Inuyasha yelling at the squirrel was really hilarious. I saw your poll and my vote goes for: Inucest only. I think it is better if Koga and Inuyasha are friends. Speaking of Koga, what is he doing in the village? He is the leader of the wolf demon tribe, so he should be with his kin. Not that I mind, I just think an explanation would be nice. The scene with Rin was very sweet. I liked it when she said: "I'm Inuyasha's human, too!".
I have a few questions: Will Kaede (or someone else) recognize the rosary around Inuyashas neck? The dead Inuyasha had (probably) no rosary, since he never wanted to steal the shikon no tama.
And what happened to the Tetsusaiga after Inuyasha died? Theoretical, since Inuyasha brought his sword through the well, there should now be 2 Tetsusaiga’s around.
I hope you update soon.
