i like it. it has decent flow and catches your attention from the start and not releasing it until the final word. I think that it's a nice oneshot that could almost be more then that, almost an outline if you would for a much longer story. keep up the good work.

Brilliant. Engaging. Rare! I haven't seen a lot of Hiei first-person stories, and you did this one with style. :) I applaud you! It's a terrific story and I especially enjoyed where you explained his reasoning for why he is the way he is...it adds depth to his character. Some would say it's taking liberties, but in this case, I don't mind. It makes sense, and you flirted with that line and successfully pulled it off. Kudos to you! Thank you for sharing it, I appreciated it muchly. ^_^
