You asked for opinions so here is mine: Well, I´ve always liked MuteShadows writing but wished that Sesshoumaru wouldn´t be so utterly hateful and cold portrayed. It´s hard to like him at all when he is like that and I´ve honestly wished that Kagome would have finally fallen for Ai and Sesshoumaru losing her completely as he would deserve it. Yes, he is created as a cold being but I´ve never seen him so extreme like in MuteShadows fics. Shouldn´t the male protangonist have sides to him which are likeable? Like the real Sesshoumaru is a cold being but he has honor. He hates humans and hanyou but doesn´t go out of his way to hurt them (like in Broken Innocence). It´s just so hard to like him in any way.
There is just something wrong with the picture as he shows how little he trusted Kagome and readily believed another female who so conveniently desires him. Him being a man-whore is also a major turn off. In real life I would wish such a male on no one.
Kagome being so utterly stupid and still clinging to him so strongly shows how little respect she has for herself. I positively loath females like that. It´s normal that it still hurts but it´s like she did not mature at all and character development is essential for a story. Please let her mature, it´s appalling how every other female character has more intelligence and confidence than her and I don´t get why? Making her utterly naive is so overused it´s not even funny anymore.

Noticed two things. First chapter you said her room was 245, but on the third floor. That wouldn't be possible. It would then be 345. The first number always represents the floor the room is on. Second thing I noticed is that they had been separated for a year, but its now changed to two years.

Besides those to details, it was an awesome story....can't help feeling like I've read it before.

I'm speechless! This story is AMAZING! I read the two chapters, and by the end I was holding my breath, and my whole body tied up in knots of how emotional it is! A VERY good story to say the least! I'm very glad you're continuing it, because I want to see what happens! Please update soon! If you can put me on your mailing list for updates, please do! Again, absolutely breathtaking!

Okay, after reading Saku's review, I had to kind of counter-answer it. No, I don't like how Sesshomaru is so cold, but it shows how badly hurt he was. He's trying to cover it all up, with sleeping around, and trying to forget Kagome. What I think would be a great love story, is to see how cold and icy he is, and have Kagome come in and melt his icy heart. But, to see how unfeeling he is at first is what needs to be done. Same thing with "Broken Innocence" we have to see how cruel he is and the extent that he will go, to appreciate the fact that Kagome comes in turns him into a better person. I find it very good and different portrayal of him, because usually he has some emotions, even in my stories, and I can never seem to get that "Killing Perfection" attitude into his character. It's far more emotional to have all of this angst in there, and you really feel for the two of them. For me, as long as in the end he turns out to be the most wonderful guy there is for her and makes US fall in love with him as well, then it's a true love story. To get past all of the crap that people carry and see the downfalls of others, but still love them no matter what, is real long-lasting love. (In my opinion!) So keep it up! (And no offense whatsoever to Saku.)
