I have to say that I like this story alot.I'm just dissappointed that it was never brought up that she was more than just 'a weak human' she is the Shikon Miko the one to destroy the evil Naraku & rid the world of the Jewel.Even when the eastern lord & his son approached her & she shot an arrow at them you left out the fact that the Miko power in the arrow was strong enough to frighten them & that it would explain both why Sessh would see her as a worthy being & knowing that normal 'weak humans' couldn't birth full demon pups but a being of incredible power could.For Sessh to choose a female to birth his heir she would have to be not only powerful but one who earned his respect.Even his relatives admit he's more powerful than even them & if they'd heard of the Shikon Miko they would know of her as being the most powerful Miko & if they found she was the mom to his heir,I don't think they'd look down on are.Then when Sessh said he was trying to protect her from those in his home who didn't like humans,she's powerful enough that they'd fear her & be terrified that if they angered her that she'd kill them.What I also don't understand is when they were at Sessh's to meet his heir wouldn't they have felt her aura when she appeared as it is well known that all powerful youkai are aware of her aura & when she's angered it hurts or is uncomfortable only to youkai who threaten her or her friends. Youkai that she's friendly with are comforted by her aura so it would make sense that her son would be immune to it. I don't see how all the youkai in Sessh's castle weren't aware of her enormous Miko presence...like I said I really enjoyed the story but the fact you left out anything to do with her powers,aura,the healers were unaware & even when she shot the arrows at the eastern lord ...its just confusing & odd that you'd leave out such an important aspect of who she is. I mean when she shoots her arrows are a glowing pink color.

so far i really like this story. Sesshomaru is having trouble understanding about women and babies and love.

very nicely done, I don't think i've read a story where sesshomaru has lost control that badly. Gues when his wife and child are gone so is his sanity. Keep it up.

What a disappointment. Why? Concubines. Really? One of the biggest cliches in writing about Sesshomaru and you used it. I had read and enjoyed your first story New Changes over on fanfiction.net, because you didn't write Sesshomaru as a man-whore like most had done. To me, you stood out because you didn't write the cliches of others and the feudal era it was set in. However, it seems you think you need to follow everyone else in the cliche department and use the "Sesshomaru is a feudal lord and must have concubines" angle. What a real shame. I had liked you, but I'm definitely not a fan of yours anymore.

Sesshoumaru is a lunkhead in this story. He talked to Kagome and loved her in her dreams treating her like she was more than just a lover, but a friend too. He is so cold to Kagome in some ways it would serve him right if they didn't find her. I know I couldn't be happy locked up in a room for a year even with my own son being my only company. He lied to Kagome and deserves to be miserable for a while. Kagome deserves a chance to get back to her family in the future also. We all know Sesshoumaru destroyed the well which is pretty fucked up.
So far this story is so sad. I feel for Kagome. I hope she will be ok.
