I like your story so far! I think there are some areas that are a little odd, but I think that overall you've set it up for an interesting story, so I assume Kagome is now going to go to Hogwarts with everyone as you mentioned she is going to be a fifth year student. That'll be cool. I cannot wait to see where you take this! good luck
