God this story is so damn good I am dying here for another chapter. Inuyasha in Sesshoumaru's arms in his room as his hanyou. What the hell can beat that? Not a damn thing. Fuck! I am going to lose my mind here.
I am an author too as you probably already know, but I can't beat this nor would I try. I am litterally on the edge of my seat going what the fuck! Don't leave me hanging here!
I have to admit a slight hate for Kagome and Kikyo in general they are not my favorite characters, but to make them so damn evil....WOW.
You know I am going to be up and like reading this until you write some more you awsome bastard! I just can't believe this shit! Now I can die in peace I think.......not.....
Anyway nice story.

you needn't worry on my part. i thought the inuyasha
scene made complete sense. it was so sad when he found
pup lying on the ground unconsicous. but i am so glad
that creep maten got what he deserves. hopefully, he
will be punished fully and without mercy.

Jeez, I'm too tired to write you the review you deserve. So...um...read the chapter earlier today, didn't have time to review then and wanted to give some encouragement for your weekend, so writing before I totally fall asleep. I really, really like the healer.

And I shuddered with anticipation at the end. Somebody is so gonna get it. Inuyasha is still breaking my heart. When he told the earlier it was ok and then passed out, I just wanted to bust in there and rescue him.

Dying of anticipation for the entrance of the Demon Lord.

Ah! I was just doing some re-reading and I absolutely love how you portrayed Jinenji attempting to order the poor little nurse to divulge her secret. It was so cute and sweet! Really well done! Now, I'm going back to study the interactions between Inuyasha's aspects. My brain keeps taking short vacations, but meds will be here in a week or two and then I won't have to put so much effort into seeing everything! Yay!

I love this story, enough that instead of waiting to check for new chapters in the morning, I start refreshing from midnight. Tonights chapter came through at 1.30 and was worth it. though if you start to miss days as you did yesterday for the sake of work I might have to force myself to wait until morning (1.30 is morning isn't it? :-))
(I'd don't know what time it is for you but I'm in Western australia, still it's worth it)

Chapter 8

Huzzah Jinenji!! I didn't think that he would be back in time to make any kind of a difference, but he did. Whoo Hoo!

About 1/2 way though this chapter, when you mentioned that Manten was actually coming to taunt and tempt Inuyasha, I got really rather mad at him. I can't wait until Sess and the rest of the party come back and see just what has happened. I'm glad that Yasha will survive to see it, too. Yasha needs to see that not all youkai are as evil and twisted as Manten is.

Your telling of the years of Jinenji's struggles with Death were really rather interesting. I loved the idea of Death being reluctant to take Inuyasha because his passing was so unnatural, unjust and unnecessary. I also liked the kindness Jinenji showed the little nurse. She was really put in the middle for all of this. How DARE that refuse order the poor little think to keep silent when he knew the truth. I certainly hope his punishment fits his crimes!

I also liked how you had Jinenji open the door to the prison. It was just as horse-like an action as Inuyasha's occasional ear-scratch and made me smile.

Off to read the next chapter! Thanks for sharing!

Chapter 9

In the first part of this chapter, even Jinenji was trying to come up with some kind of reason that Manten would have starved Inuyasha like this, but I'm glad that he let his healer senses outweigh his sense of 'propriety' and chain of command. There was no excuse.

I'm surprised that others didn't back Jinenji more - they obviously don't like Manten any more than the rest of us if Jakotsu's reaction is an indication. I'm surprised that they didn't at least listen to what Jinenji had to say. If he was the chief healer, they each would have had to put themselves in his care at least once or twice, even if they are youkai and heal far more easily than normal. A person who has received medication help from someone will usually hold them in at least a little respect. But perhaps I'm reading more into this than I should.

I'm glad Sess is going to be there now to at least get the poor hanyou turned human back into the right hands!

Thanks for writing!
