yay for sesshie getting inuyasha to claim himself! it's the first step in a very long and trying road. i can't wait for the next chapter. ^^

*evil laughter* why does it seem that he is not half HUMAN and demon? *shakes head* must be my mind making troubles again. it'd be heck if he's actually part SERAPH and demon *snickers* would certainly account for his light. *sighs* but i know that is way off... hmm.. a priestess perchance his mother spotted him and brought tot he temple? ooohhhh i can't wait to see!!!

I have a soft spot for possive Sesshomoru. The twist on the perfect killer to healer and the Demon's Prince's own amusement was just...good. Definately. Love this chapter. Love our poor Horse Hanyou, heart of gold, truly! I'm still grinning. I am really glad that you're letting Inuyasha develope naturally, questioning the healer, testing to find the limits of his current situation. But now you have me really, really, curious about this latest developement. Who is Inuyasha's father? Why is he different? Hm.....

I'm guessing that the younger state of Inuyasha's demon may have something to do with it? And you Sesshomoru mentioned court, the next day. Somehow I do not see that going over without incident! Whatever Sesshomoru thinks, or maybe he's just setting himself up to show off what's his. Will he be able to keep Inuyasha as mellow as he is now, or will culture shock set in? I mean, new city, demons, new food, well good food in this case, even though all the changes are for the good, how will Inuyasha adjust? Not knowing the rules, the social mores, is always the hardest part of adapting to a new place. And Inuyasha doesn't know the rules. He doesn't know how to be a demon, a free person, to even regularly speak up for himself. He's in culture shock even to himself. He could potentionally get out of bed and walk across the room without getting hit. What's that going to do to him?

Whoops, my apologies if I'm sounding like a know it all. I've been through cultural shock in several different countries, languages and social circles. So I guess it stands out to me. Some take it better than others. Inuyasha definatley has a lot going for him with Sesshomoru looking after him.

Please, please, next chapter! I'm still so hooked on this story. Thank you for writing.

hehehe.. now as intelligent as sesshie is he should be better able to piece together his 'interesting' happenings with pup and yasha. i can't wait to see how this will continue or how inuyasha and the others take the changes around them. thank you for sharing this.

I love it. Thank you for recognizing the power of a name. And you made me a tiny bit nervous about Sesshomoru at the end of chapter 12 but cleared it all up in chapter 13, even made him more eandering. I didn't miss that part about Beta either.

I can see Inuyasha having a bit of trouble in the future obeying all these new rules about how to speak off himself or even think of himself. I wonder how it will feel for him to actually answer to Inuyasha from a source outside of himself. He definately needs some training before he can keep up the manners of one of the Demon Lord's pack in public!

I love the tendernes, how Sesshomoru can't keep his hands to himself nor feels any desire to. Inuyasha needs a lot of petting! and cuddling, kissing of ears, ticking of feet, sniffing......hm....time to go track down something to cuddle. Obviously you've put my mind on a very dangerous track. I am now a danger to any free running puppy. ^_^

But seriously, good chapter. Cannot wait for the next one. These characters are staying strong and developing and it's a pleasure reading.

Very nice save, I really didn't like sesshoumaru at the end of chapter 12, I agree with a reveiw above it was very abrupt, didn't really fit what he was saying about honour and how he had noted the demons young energy.

One thing to clear up I know you tend not to edit for NaNoWrMo but what did you mean by " "No young one, Demons of honor do not do that. We are upfront, we are just and we are dearly." Dearly? I'm sure thats not what you meant but I can't work out what else it would be. Usually I can work it out by what else is written, this time I can't.

By the way, I totally loved Pup, maybe we can meet shippo and rin as a playmate?

I am glad Sesshoumaru clarified that Mongrel business. Now all he has to do is get Inuyasha to open up to him and soon they will find love in each other. At least I hope they will damn it all.

I totally agree it was an appropriate ending to the chapter indeed. I liked it very much especially with the sensitivity that Sesshomaru showed the young one which is right and appropriate with how he had been treated and abused most of his life. I was almost in tears with how lovely this chapter was I did giggle a little though when Sesshomaru referred to Jinenji and how upset he would be to find Inuyasha out of bed that was adorable and oh so true I can't wait for the next update though I gotta admit I do miss my updates on strength.

This chapter was definitely a roller coaster for our poor Hanyou. He is in totally uncharted waters and doesn't know how to behave from one moment to the next. One almost feels sorry for his struggle to understand the basics of compassion. Lovely moment, though we really saw most of it from Sess's POV. I'd like to see Inuyasha's inner thoughts a little more as this is going on.
