I have to tell you. Wow man. Just wow. I've been enjoying this sorry so much. I usually don't read ones off of the normal story topic but this is a good one. Great writing, great job on explaining Inuyasha experiencing sub space. Just great job. I look forward to reading more!
Yes, yes it did, and I was not expecting Inuyasha to wake up in his own bed the next morning! Uh-oh... I would assume Izayoi must know, unless Sesshoumaru, in all his awesome Sesshoumaru-ness, slipped Inuyasha back home without her detecting him. Still, he'd better get dressed and cover as many bruises as possible before she discovers him like that. And I would ask how Sesshoumaru even knew where Inuyasha lived but one, a drunken Inuyasha could have told him and he just doesn't remember, or two, Sesshoumaru followed his nose. I'm looking forward to finding out how close my guesses about certain things are when you eventually get to that part of the story, but in the meantime, I'm just generally looking forward to seeing what happens next. I'm glad your next update was so soon! Hopefully your schedule permits you to keep that up for a while. :-)
You're alive! And you updated this story! Yay! It's been so long I went back and reread it from the beginning, and I'm glad I did 'cause there were a lot of little details I had forgotten. I remembered Izayoi freaking out when she heard about Sesshoumaru, though, and I'm still thinking it's gonna turn out they're half brothers. Only thing that doesn't make sense is Izayoi having mated her inu-youkai lover, and Sesshoumaru's parents supposedly still being together and there having been no mention of his father's...well it wouldn't even be an 'indiscretion' if he mated the human, and how could Sesshoumaru's mother not know about it? But then, maybe she does, and they both just never told Sesshoumaru. And it's also weird that they can't smell it on each other, if they're related. But, Izayoi knew where the Inu no Taisho's mansion was and lied about it being common knowledge. Maybe it was a pity mating, like the youkai equivalent of child support, just so that Izayoi could stay alive long enough to raise her slow-growing child. Don't know why I originally thought Inuyasha thought his father was dead, because rereading it, he told Sesshoumaru about their mating and that his mother would stay alive so long as his father is alive, so obviously Inuyasha knows his father is alive and just abandoned them. Won't it be interesting the morning after their fun and games if the Inu no Taisho finds out who his (legitimate) son has in his bed. But enough about all that. I don't really care one way or the other and I just wanna see the good stuff! Please don't make me wait six years for the next update! It's just gettin' goooooooooood.
