One of the best fanfics I've read. I wonder if Inuyasha is still alive.

I like your characterization of Sesshoumaru and how he is with his son. This story would not fit in with the canon ending of Inuyasha; Sesshoumaru's too dark. But it's very interesting in its own way. It's like a dark side of him that he could have nurtured, but didn't in the manga.
Kat is very similar to Inuyasha, maybe a little too similar. You may as well have written "brother" instead of "son".
The original character of the hanyou girl is dangerously close to a Mary Sue; I would have found it more interesting if she had been imperfect in some way - like maybe with the permanent hunch at the neck that is characteristic of people who keep their head bowed a lot like a slave would definitely do. It was weird that she straightened up for the first time in her life and ended up with perfect posture.
But I hope you have not abandoned this story and write more soon. I am interested in reading where it goes, along with "Save Me".

I can completely relate to Sesshoumaru's anger and rage that would drive him to put such a test for her. But how is this an initiation of proving her strength? She allowing them to rape her just reiterates his beliefs that hanyou are weak and useless and don't deserve to live. It would have been more reasonable if Sesshoumaru had done it in the name of some sort of punishment of twisted cleansing ritual for her being a hanyou.
My favourite part of this chapter was this: "Then the worst happens; Sesshomaru raises one of his hands gracefully and gives a small flick with his fingers before letting the hand rest back on the armrest of the throne. The demons assembled grin wider because we all know what that means. Fire at will."
That action is just so fitting of him, its very beautiful.

This story reminds me of Wuthering Heights, with Sesshoumaru as Heathcliff. So his wife/mate loved him but still cheated on him with Inuyasha? Somehow, on matter what horrible things Sesshoumaru does, my sympathies go to him instead of Mizuki or Inuyasha or the others. People like Sesshoumaru weren't meant to care too deeply about others, at least not as an equal, without the result being pain and tragedy of some sort. Sesshoumaru could be happy with someone like Kitaru from Save Me.
Mizuki reminds me of the girl Heathcliff marries in Wuthering Heights, the one catherine warns against marrying a man like heathcliff...although, in your story they are more like distant relatives than anything else.At least the men in Sesshoumaru's court just raped her and did not torture her, so that she was mostly just humiliated rather than physically injured in any way.
I find it interesting that she forgot her name and was named by Kat. I wonder if she will remember her real name some time and chose to be called that instead of Mizuki.
I hope you continue to write this story to the point that Sesshoumaru finally finds peace and resolves all the darkness he has surrounded himself and his son with (and by finding peace, I don't mean dying or becoming human or any crap like that).

wow.... well i think i can guess where your going with her family history.... but wouldnt that make them cousins.... meh i dont care about that AT all (kinda i fan of inuyashaXsesshamoru) (sorry for bad spelling of the names)... all though you did state that here mum was also a 1/2 unless i miss read... i hope you go in to here and explain a bit aout her history. your style and reactions the charters have all perfect. i like how you made lord shessy cold and not feeling.. and you have given a reson for that (wife leaving and cheating on him with his 1/2 brother) but maby you could go a bit deeper in to him (im not saying make him kind or caring that is a but too OC for him) but maby make him a deeper charter with explinations behind his emotions (i know that a lot of people think he hasnt got any or there well garded but he is a living being and should be explored as such)
i would allso love to see why he treated his son as a slave (maby a flash back to see what happended as a yaoi fan my mind is not very celan and im not thinking along the line that you where sugesting...*smiles*)
all in all this is going on my fav list.. do you try and update on a certain day of the week/month or a time (like after school?).. or is there any way of adding a twitter/email/facebook that could alart people of when this is updated? other wise i, going to be cheeking this twice a day for ever

I just read your story and I thought it was very good. It is passionate, sad, romantic, happy and heart wrenching with an exciting air of mystery. I really enjoyed it.
