Just finished reading the ceremony. I will admit, when I first read that you were going to do some kind of ceremony 'heal' Inuyasha, I was upset. I wanted Sess to realize that it was his love and his caring that was what was needed. Then as I read the piece itself, I realized that you were basically just giving Sess a little more time and Inuyasha a little more energy to make it through the rigors ahead. No more upset. Then I realized that I rather liked the ceremony. I liked that you pulled in the hindi elements (as so many of the things we originally interpret as Japanese had their roots in the Indian subcontinent). The thing I like the most though was the ending where Sess officially bound himself to Inuyasha as his mate. It seemed far more that he was announcing his own binding to Inuyasha than Inuyasha being bound to him. I hope that Inuyasha realizes that and what it really means to him.

All in all a lovely couple of chapters. Thanks for writing for us!!

this was well worth the wait. i checked out the sighte for the Ganesha Yantra
and it was quite intriguing. but i guess in your story to make it work. it didn't
completely purfiy what was wrong with inuyasha. only sesshomaru opening his heart
to him can inuyasha be saved. i guess this ceremony will give inuyasha more time
so he will be able to get pregnant. is that why sesshomaru did this ceremony?
well, i can't wait until the next chapter.

I'm so glad that Sesshoumaru finally did it, and he did it in a way that shows Inuyasha that he isn't ashamed. Simply wonderful! I wonder if Yuusha will be angry. Loved the detail. I'm curious about the eight pointed star. Could you email me more about its meaning? I know that practitioners of Chaos magic use it as their symbol.

It is about time that Inuyasha got something good. I hope that he can be saved by Sesshoumaru. It seems that a mating is needed however even if Inuyasha did not concieve yet. I believe that being mated to Sesshoumaru would at least give Inuyasha some sense of peace and it would let him know that Sesshoumaru did love him.

OMG you updated soooo fast!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! HA HA Inu was in for quite the shock with that surprise party just for him eh/?? Poor Inu, hates the spotlight and has been forced into it. lol. Well, I hope you can crunch out the next chapter quickly too, I can't wait to see what happens in this ceremony..does he get changed to a full demon?? Sooo excited.

Sesshoumaru is sneaky! You're right; Inuyasha would have probably run from the celebration had he known that it was mainly for him. It's a sweet thing that Sesshoumaru is doing and I hope it helps Inuyasha. I have to wonder if this is the night that Sesshoumaru mates Inuyasha. ^_^ Are you going to allow us to see the rituals?
