I loved this story. My boyfriend goes to Afghanustan soon and I've been worried about what he'll be like when he gets home. He's been to Iraq once before and I saw the way he was after that. But at that time we we're just friends so this'll be different. I'm scared that I won't be able to give him what he needs when he gets back....

That was really good and touching as well as somewhat frightening. I'm from a pacifist country where war is seen for what it is.. a human catastrophe. I have the chance of not having to live through this kind of trauma.. I can only empathise with people touched by that plague..

Wow... first off, who the hell gave this a three star review?! Just because a story is difficult to deal with doesn't make it any less riveting, or important. Hard stories need to be told, too, for understanding and healing. I applaud you going this route. Your style is instantly engaging, but the subject matter holds the reader fast. You handle it boldly, yet with great care. Amazing start.

This is amazing. I have been lucky to not have to deal with PTSD, or having him return injured. I do remember the sleepless nights and the stress.
