The creativity and details that infuse this story are so damn impressive. And I love how the original characters enrich and enhance the story. So many times the OC's are distracting or are filler, but here, they give the story greater depth and atmosphere. I still can't get over how stunned I feel at the intricate and complex detail I just read. I love Atrius, and while I haven't seen much of Retsu and Komar, I find them very cool and interesting characters. Imalia is powerful, energetic, attention grabbing and highly annoying. She needs a to take a chill pill, although I can understand why she's so defensive, offensive, and hyper - she's a woman under siege and constant attack. Love the descriptions of the castle and environs; again, the level of detail just sweeps me off my feet. Atrius detailing his time with Inuyasha in his report to Sesshomaru was hilarious, as is the running commentary from Sess-Youki and Inu-Youki. The history you gave Sesshomaru and Inu-Taisho was amazing. I feel so torn. As much as I wish for peace and healing between the brothers, a part of me still wishes for everlasting pain for Sesshomaru for what he did to Inuyasha. However, if this story can evolve Inuyasha and the reader properly, as it feels great promise in doing so, then I think there will be forgiveness and understanding in the end.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad you decided to update when you did because it brought to my attention this indescribably story. I read the first chapter and was blown away. I couldn't believe how well it was written, barring some grammatical errors. I was completely hooked. This is like the only thing I have read all weekend. Even when I was with friends something would be said that reminded me of your story and then I would have this insatiable urge to go read it. As long as I didn't dwell on it fabulousness, i could resist the urge to read it right NOW. But it was hard. About half way through the story, I decided to take a quick look at your profile page. I was deliriously happy to see that you said that you never abandon a story. That you will give it an ending. Because I too have come a crossed some beautifully written stories only to see that it hasn't been updated in two years. When that happens, I am enraged. So it makes me very grateful that you don't plan on doing so. Especially with this story. You are one of those authors that, as I read their work, I hope that they continue writing because they are just so talented I refuse to let them go. It always runs through my mind; "If they can do this much with someone else's work. What would they be able to do with their own?" I mean you obviously changed things so that you can write your own story, but you still have to work within the original authors rules concerning the characters, settings, and forces that play a part in the story,at least to an extent. So what would you be able to do if given complete creative license? This is when i hope that the author has written someone of their own stuff, so I can see if they are just as good when everything concerning the story is their responsibility. I see you have written your own work but I haven't had a chance to look at it because I have been so focused on this story. So I do hope you do get published if you try to go professional with your work because the world deserves to be able to read talent like your's because it far surpasses half, if not more, of what is published now-a-days.
P.S. You might want to consider doing spell check or try to get a Beta/editor because there are quite a few glaring grammatical errors throughout the story. Beta/editor would probably be a good idea because spell check can only do so much.
P.S.S. I am nearly vibrating with anticipation for the next update.

It's truly amazing to me how cleverly you maneuver your characters and readers into any position you desire. Sesshomaru's antagonism toward and abuse of Inuyasha ensures that he could never be pitied for any punishment and pain that Inuyasha could inflict upon him. That may still be true. I feel a thrill each time Inuyasha stabs his point home into Sesshomaru, deflating his dreams of reconciliation. It's beyond adding insult to injury, after the pain and humiliation, the abandonment and solitude and hardships he forced upon Inuyasha, that he could ever expect there to be peace between them. He did not come around because of any quality within himself, but because of something Nefrume forced upon Inuyasha that he inadvertantly got dragged into: reliving the most painful memories Inuyasha has. Since he actually EXPERIENCED Inuyasha's pain as his own, FINALLY he could understand the enormity of the impact of his own selfishness and cruelty. I have loved the back stories you've given us, making this story so richly saturated in history and atmosphere, and giving us great insight into the motivations and perspectives of your characters. This brings me to the crux of what I wanted to tell you. Anyone would expect Sesshomaru to be a heartless character that the reader could happily abuse and see in pain, but that is not what we have here. As much as I love Inuyasha getting a bit of his own back, and as much as I acknowledge that Sesshomaru deserves this pain and more, still, as your carefully cultivated reader, I feel tremendous sympathy for Sesshomaru, and can't help but hope for healing between the brothers.
I also love the new characters you have introduced, and the history and relationships you have surrounding them. The complexity of this story is growing in leaps and bounds. What's truly remarkable is that the new things brought into the story do not in any way detract from the main story line of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. Rather, they enrich the dynamics between the brothers. Sure do love this story.

*hears a chorus of angels singing* It's a miracle! You updated! XD But seriously I'm SO happy for this update - but at the same time SO MAD!!!!!! Cliffies are both my best friends as a writer and my worst enemies as a reader. There were some word mixups and grammatical errors, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly ^.^ I would love to be your proofreader... not just cuz I wanna read your updates...*shifty eyes* lol

I have been reading this story for two days now and it stops there!!!!! I want to hit you or something! Please write more! I really really enjoyed it and I have not read such an engaging story that caused me to want to read it so much that I would sit hours and hours reading and enjoying every moment. I truly enjoyed this story but you need to update soon! I really want to know what happens next! Will Inuyasha be alright? Will Naraku rape him? Will Sesshomaru be able to save Inuyasha? Please update soon! These questions will plague me until you do!!!!!!!!

It's funny, I was thinking just yesterday how much I'd like to see a new chapter of this fic and here you are today delivering one. I'm happy, I loved it. There were typos but it was a very long chapter so I can't really blame you. It didn't distract me from enjoying it in any way, so it doesn't really matter.
I am shocked, I never believed some of the guards would be such asshole, some even going as far as attacking Rin. Oh but I will surely enjoy the punishments Sesshomaru will deal once he'll be back.
Anyway, thank you for the update. I hope the next one will be soon. :)
