SO when is the next awesome chapter coming out? must say i'm really really looking forward to it. Is Inuyasha really going to die though? would make for a real heart wrenching bad ending if that's your aim. I'm more of a happy ending type of person though. Also, if Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru become true mates then will there be no heirs to the West? Looking forward to the rest of the chapters. It's been a really good story so far so thank you for your hard work!

I Love this story! I hope to god that you write more. I love the Chars, I enjoy how their inner demons speak to them. I cannot wait to see what happens to Inuyasha now that he's in Naraku's clutches. Sessy is going to have a FIT!!

about #32...

Well, I'm finally able to read this after getting
caught in other fandoms, but after rereading a
couple of chapters, is it possible that the chemical
smell that Sesshomaru smelt coming from Inuyasha..is
Yasha's ability to create poison himself?

I want to thank you for providing such amazingly long chapters! I am excited for the next chapter, and hope you can update as soon as you can. In the last two days I sat and read through the entire fanfic and I am left wanting more, and I hope Naraku dies. In any way possible. Gruesome, quick, painful, painless, as long as he is dead and away from Inuyasha, I will be happy. Keep up the good work :) It has been a long and serious with a dash of quirky-ness read and I just wanted to take some time to let you know that you are appreciated. Take care and with much love,

It's amazing how much depth and life and color breathe in this story. There's history, rich personalities, chemistry, unimaginably creative back stories, and the interplay among the characters makes me feel like dancing. Alir and Tren and Atrius are fun, funny and interesting characters - they have a life of their own, and they add so much flavor to the story. The details you infuse throughout set tone and atmosphere stunningly well. Inuyasha grasping Sesshomaru's face in his hands when he stops in the hall to think. Diagon working away on his Inuyasha file, but still inserting comments and info into the guards' banter. That whole beheading and hogtieing of Diagon was so detailed - Diagon's voice, Sesshmaru's smile, Rentu's terror and horror, Inuyasha's detached presence, Diagon's twitching headless body - I could picture it all so clearly. Loved the guards' hazing initiation of Atrius and their group bitch/gossip session, and I loved how they worked out some of Inuyasha's mystery (and the part Diagon added, as well as how he did not in any way give any of his Lords' secrets - and Atrius did not participate in the gossip part either). This story is so utterly satisfying because of all the tremendous details that paint such a vivid, amazing picture.

Don't know how you do it - continues to knock me on my ass. INCREDIBLE scene where Inuyasha and Sesshomaru go ballistic on each other in front of Retsu and Diagon. Best getting drunk and baring it all scene I've ever read. Truly, this story is just so damn stunning. With Sesshomaru so vulnerable and open, it makes me begin to wish that Inuyasha and he can truly mend things between them.

Honestly, this is one of the most incredible stories I've ever read. I LOVE the back and forth emotional swings that Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are suffering. I love their confusion, their hopes and dreams, and I especially love the very inventive punishment being dished out to Sesshomaru. For someone so brilliant, he sure is missing several cogs in the wheels of his intellect when it comes to empathy for his brother. OK, so now he "feels Inuyasha's pain," and he finally knows the utter hell Inuyasha has suffered, so obviously since he's decided to end his anti-Hanyou campaign, all must turn out to be sunshine and butterflies. Sesshomaru needs to have the final hopes of his life doused in acid like he perpetrated upon Inuyasha. Only then will he really know the true levels of pain Inuyasha felt. It's so cruel, that Sesshomaru should sincerely want to mend bridges with his brother, and then let so much stupid crap interfere with that laudable goal. He just keeps ending up too little too late where his brother is concerned. The hurts are so deep, I really don't know how they could ever truly be overcome.

On another note, I love more than anything your OC's. Love Diagon, Retsu and Atrius. The female general/mercenary is a highly intriguing and interesting character, but annoying as all hell too.

I'm all agog to find out how you are going to bring peace and resolution to these two crushed brothers.

God, it's so hard to read this sometimes! Makes me wish I could reach through the screen and give Sesshomaru a whole world of hurt. So, here's Inuyasha falling to pieces before his very eyes, and his thoughts are calculating, wondering what his approach should be in order to get his way with Inuyasha, and his other thoughts are upset about how Inuyasha is referring to Rin. Aaaaaaaaaargh! I have an insatiable craving for Sesshomaru to be hurt so deeply, that he will carry his own bleeding wounds for the rest of his life the same way he's ensured that Inuyasha has to carry his. And then he has the unmitigated gall to oversimplify Inuyasha's perspective! Oh, Inuyasha isn't as mature as I thought, gotta treat him like a kid, only not let him know that's what's going on. Oh, Inuyasha is hurt the same way, feeling he's being replaced. How DARE Sesshomaru compare his teenage feelings to Inuyasha's hurt! Sesshomaru's pain was caused by misunderstandings with his father, miscommunication, and a lack of trust on his father's part. Hurtful, but not intentional, and his father obviously loved him. Sesshomaru, on the other hand, abandoned an infant, a tiny child Inuyasha, and then actively abused and tortured him, threatened him with death, and made sure Inuyasha never had a thing, not even knowledge of his own family and species. And now, here's Sesshomaru, all high and mighty and judgemental at Inuyasha's failings due to his lack of knowledge about his own culture. Damn it! I want Sesshomaru to be HURT! Then I want you to work really, really hard to make it all better and in the end have sweet Inu loving! Damn it!
