Sweet chapter. I have to admit, I'm wondering what Sesshomaru and Thoren's kids would look like. I hope they won't be too messed up. It would be a shame! Good chapter- B reading U!

Thank you for answering my question, but now I have another one. Will Inuyasha be able to sire pups/colts or will Sesshoumaru be the only sire? Whats going to happen to Shippo's uncle? I know that he will not be able to be near Inuyasha, but where could possible work without running into him?

Well everything is going good as long as no one over steps their bounds. Now that Shippo and his family are being taken care of whats up with this Lord Ken and also why did Sesshoumaru pick Inuyasha for a mate and not the unicorn?

Like it or not, child abuse is a relatively new term. Back in the day, beating your wife/child(ren)/slaves/servants was the man of the house's right... disciplining was 'natural'. So actually Hideharu wouldn't have really been acting out of societal norms. I'm glad that besides giving a different slant to the Yokai societal norms, that you also include mercy as well. Hideharu has performed an act of contrition over his behavior with Shippo by not only confiding in Shippo and trying to make amends, but by going to his brother with it as well (before it comes out otherwise). It's a start. It doesn't mean he's all forgiven and everythings all hunky-dory... but it's also not the focus (I don't think) of the story.
You may have him coming about this 'revelation' quickly... but I understand it's part of your writing style to come to 'conclusions' at a faster pace rather than drag something out for several chapters. Thats okay by me. :) I'm not all that much into angst anyway, in fact it kind of drives me nuts when a character is all angsty or a situation is dragged on for chapters/months (hell even years!)on end. Real life can be pissy enough without it being perpetrated in the stories I like to read.

I forgot to ask was your husband adjusting to being back home. I hope you all are doing well. Sesshoumaru couldn't maim anybody,, but at least he could see that Shippo is doing better for the moment. I don't think he should let him 'experiment' too much before he mated Fuu. I guess as a parent he wouldn't want someone hanging around his child treating her the same he was being treated with his own mate.

Well at least he is serious about trying to get over Inuyasha and treating Shippo better. I didnn't think that he would have to give up being the lord of the east.
