I asked because I was thinking that for Sesshoumaru to be anything other than alpha is not possible. At this point his body is responding to what his mind is telling him what he shouldn't be. As long as Inuyasha keeps up with what he's doing Sesshoumaru may turn off the auto pilot and try to bring his kingdom back under his control. I'm not saying that Inuyasha is messing up, but it's not up to Sess's standards behind the scenes. Did I make any sense trying to explain my question. Its not who will he mate with, but more of a what is he thinking at this point about really giving up on his old life. You have written about why he feels he needs to let Rin go, but what about his land, his heritage? Does he really trust that Inuyasha only wants what best for him to get better/or past this incident? I know that Sesshoumaru kissed Inuyasha. That maed him think more about Rin and his decision to let her go, but what about his brother his only family? That's more of what I'm asking right now. As an alpha it would be responsiblity to make sure his family is takien care of as well as his lands. Could he really let all of that go and be satisfied? Am I getting too deep into this or what? Your fic has opened up a new way of looking at someone that everyone feared and desired, but never had courage to act on their desires and how will he pull through the blow to his pride that it took his half-breed half brother to rescue him instead of leaving him to his fate. Ok enough about Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru for now. Sairex and Miroku - I should have known that Miroku would not pass up a chance to grope some one. You have gone twenty-four chapters in and no one had slapped him for his wandering hand. I loved it, can't wait to see what happens next.

Merely Truth

That was hot. Poor bird demon dealing with Miroku in his body......or should I say lucky?

I would love to see Miroku seduce Sairex and vice versa. I hope they kill that bastard fast so that Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha move forward in their relationship no matter how they do so also.

Well at least they're working together with out fighting too much. I liked Miroku and Sairex's conversation. It was a good way to take their mind off things for a little while. If you do have Inuyasha and Sesshouamru as a couple who would be alpha? The reason I asked this question is because of something you wrote in the chapter about Inuyasha being the lord of the west. This is not a "please make them a couple" question, just trying to get an understanding of what you meant about the "... We can not both be lord of this land, but if it is known that I live, there are few ways that you have any right to rule unless you have...subjugated me.:" statment. I would think that because he is the son of prior lord and should Sesshoumaru not want to be the lord any more then it would fall to Inuyasha automatically.

You love to torture them don't you? Now you have me hoping that they all make it out all right. Nothing bad had happened to Miroku and nothing really bad for Inuyasha. Inuyasha didn't like the way that Sesshoumaru was treating him, but didn't want him dead. I know now that he will most likely he will try to go off with out a plan when they find Miroku on the floor with blood coming out of his ears. How will Sesshoumaru react? Not that he has any feelings for Miroku, but will he think that this has something to do with the overgrown lizard?

Awsome so far. I am waiting with baited breathe.

All I will say is "wow." A thousand other words run through my mind but I'll omit them. Suffice to say that I have been reading this story for the last several days and read the first 17? chapters in a handful of hours and have been reading each update religiously. I have not read such a good IY fanfic in a very long while. Do please keep updating. I am dying to find out how these plot twists turn out.

This is the perfect fic: original plot line, angst, brotherly love, and prompt updates! Keep it up please :)

I love the angst, but I hope it won't last long. I would really like to see the two Inu's work things out, lovers or not. Still love that ice cream chapter.
